Game is unplayable without without sub because of craft bag. Unless you enjoy micromanaging 18 mule alts then yes, buying the dlcs on sale would probably be cheaper.

Seems like a regular DLC to me, not much game changers. Big zone, 12man trial jewelry crafting and a new guild with its own abilities. Doesnt seem to justify the big price tag. 59.99 - 89.99.

Wrothgar dlc for me was a more enjoyable experience than even the "chapter" Morrowind.

    This is the point.
Wrothgar was a dlc and it came with new trial and a huge map (completely accessible).
As already mentioned jewellery crafting should be part of the base game update so its not locked behind summerset purchase.
So pretty much we're paying for a new skill line.

    It's 29.99 as a digital upgrade...

    Just saying.

But, it really will depend on how much content there really is in the land mass.

Thanks for pointing that out i was not sure about a digital upgrade.

Not true at all. I don't sub never. I do just fine withou the craft bag. I do have my own personal guild bank and that helps alot of course. Stick crafting mats in bank once they stacked up to 200 i move them to guild bank. I keep gear that i want to keep on my alts for that class, my tank is holding all tank gear etc. I only have 2 mules and they are holding junk such as surveys and treasure maps and maybe some jewelry that im saving. ESO life is no easier or harder witg or without craft bag. Free eso plus weekend just put everything in craft bag and free up alot of space and start over. Simple.

It's supposed to have 30+ hours of questing in it. I never pay attention to how many hours I spend in a zone, so I don't know if that's good or bad compared to Morrowind, but it seems like one of their selling points.

Most likely since it is associated with the plotline of both Morrowind and Clockwork. In my opinion, they should add all three together and sell it as one 'Chapter'.

Same with near-future DLC and Chapters. Purchase the 'Chapter' to receive all incoming DLC that is associated with the chapter's plotline. The 3 princes who didn't sign the Coldharbour Compact invading certain areas of Tamriel, which is subject to invasion of shadows, etc.. Is the plotline of the trio (Morrowind, Clockwork, and Summerset).

They'll probably end up doing something like the quad bundle of Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood. It'd be nice though.

It would seem so but to all the veteran players who play this game for years the overland zone is just to weak for any type of enjoyment which just make it a run here get this kill that which can and will be done in less than 30 hours. At least this was the case in the pass with the main story line quests. I want a challenge with my quests. Like it was 2 years ago when i first started some quest was too high of a level and ineither really had to fight har, think of a plan or retreat and get higher level. Now i just blow at them and they die. I speaking of the over land area because thats wherw the majority of the quests are. If ZoS fix this issue with summerset where 720+ cp skilled players have the option to make overland zones match their skill level that would be well worth the price tag. The quest giver should give you an option to make quest veteren or keep it easy. If you choose veteran then you go to the veteran instance of that zone with other players that have chosen the veteran quest. Thats just an idea and i dont see being to difficult to implement this.

Who said Jewelry Crafting will be part of the base game patch? If they’re linking it to the Chapter by listing it among the Summerset features, it’s probably going to be locked behind the Chapter somehow. Just like the Psijic Order Skill Line.

At best, you’ll probably be able to buy crafted jewelry from people who have the Chapter if you don’t have Summerset yourself. But don’t just expect it to be free.

    Assuming anything is dangerous.

Totally no Zo$ greed, they even gift you Morrowind with physical CE Edition. Which is awesome, cause then all the CE Edition fanboys get a second time ...

And not to mention Morrowind as title is a bit missleading for the fact they only used Vvardenfell and for the epic Landmass they just put a gigantic no go Volcano on it and simply ignored a tiny island in the north.

Look, there's a big mountain on Summerset, i wonder if we can go there ...

And the only reason we got Orsinium as dlc is that they didn't have the chapter idea yet ...

What I see here is a lot of conspiracy theory Kwama droppings and cynical nix-ox jelly.

I see a lot of people going on about how they feel "Cheated" and how Zenimax is a greedy evil overlord rivaling Clavicus Vile and Molag Bal combined. But honestly? Selling these expansion packs separate from the regular content packs is probably the least worst tuing they could be doing.

So, what makes this Summerset Isle a chapter? Probably a few reasons: The massive island, that probably has a good amount of staying power in it, it getting a physical release (Making it non-digital, so calling it a content pack or "DLC" is just wrong and an abuse of the acronym), and probably having a bunch of other stuff planned ahead (Which was not yet announced most likely, telling everything on an announcement stream may end up ruining much of the surprise for the chapter/expansion). So... Do chill your beans, will 'ye?

Also, in before someone says "Muh Wrothgar DLC", let me say it like this: Yes, Wrothgar is quite an impressive content pack considering what we get from it, and I also believe it could jave been sold as it's own kind of Chapter/Expansion, if it had a physical release. However, speaking in regards of land mass, I would say it's a bit smaller compared to current Vvardenfell. At least I don't think it's that massive, I could be wrong though.

I also see people having a problem that the island has mountains that might make up for non-traversible landmass. While that may be a bit inconvenient, I still see it as a better thing than having a flat mass of ground woth no real vistas that surrounds you in a distance. So with that, I want to ask: If you don't want mountains, what DO you want then? Flat ground with a hill here and there and a ton of trees, or... What? Just saying "*** mountains 30% unmovable terrain -_-" tells nothing to anyone involved.

Its not the content that makes me want to stop playing but the community. To many people rushing dungeons, queueing as tank and fail horribly in a dlc dungeon, or simply trial-guilds running at unholy hours. The game itself is fine, its the people playing who are making it rotten to the core.

Not really. Clockwork City had a zone, a trial and the new outfit system. And is free for ESO+. Summerset just adds a new skill line and a larger zone. And that's worth ~ $30?

So its simple for you...don't buy it. Don't use the new skill line nor any crafted jewelry. Remember in your own words its not worth it.

So I take you that you can jewelry craft already? I mean it must be already contained somewhere in the game along with the new skill line...I just have to locate it.
