    It would be easy enough to add Snare removal to every class, as they all have a class skill that could realistically do such things

    Double Take for NB
    Streak for Sorcs
    Wings for DK
    Swiftness for Warden
    Templars already have purge

    Snares are annoying and the counters for them is few and have some limitation to them (Forward Momentum is behind 2h, Shuffle needs 5 medium armor and Purge is expensive). Making snare removal more common would help balance it out and be less of a problem.

    Once we do that can we just remove DK.

    The outsustain class... Has the worst sustain. Maybe The Tank class? Has a staggering 5% mitigation increase when blocking. Blocking gets nerfed repeatedly. OK what about the lockdown class? NB and sorc have comparable LD, warden has an AoE root, psijic has an AoE root. Roots nerfed, more counters appear.

    This probably sounds biased but only DK should have snare removal, since they have no useful mobility. They should be the slow, but steady class, not the snared 90% and suicide misting. (Happy with removing gapcloser and expedition on chains, *** is very close to useless.)

    Templar has purge, NB has cloak+shade, sorc has streak+lightning, warden has expedition on wings. I am fine with buffing. Temp purge being 50% of effects on you, so it scales better at higher effects. Streak being cheaper, BoL allowing you to port to the balls. NB is fine as is.

    To be honest If we're going to give every class a snare remove tool, then what is the point of having snares again?

    How do you expect magDks to ever catch anyone again?

    Reduce the ranged snares and the rest will figure itself out.

    No reason to have 41m range snares and roots. Especially the powerfull ones.

Practically every Stamina Build is already using Forward Momentum/Shuffle and practically every magic character is a Vampire just for Mist. The ones that don't use these are DoA and that will continue to be the case even if every class gets a snare removal.

    Only exception here is warden with their mushroom heals , but lets be honest warden is an overloaded class anyways.

    And the only thing you give away from Magic Builds is some fire resistance, which is completely made up for by Vampire passives anyways so your argument is one sided.

    Lets say you do give every class a class removal, as per my examples.

    Streak already makes snares pointless as it's not hindered by snares at all so the Sorc either get away or dies from gap closer spam anyway. The snare argument is completely irrelevant here.

    Stamblades have Cloak and Fear as magic dumps and both are costly as you'll get about 3-4 casts of either before being OOM. Double Take would require another Magic Ability be slotted and eat away at their already limited Magic Pool as is and considering Stamblade is one of the only classes that function well with 5 Medium already, I'm more inclined to believe they just stick with Shuffle anyways over Double Take simply to preserve what little magic they have for cloaking.

    StamDK and Stamplar have no mobility already so Snares are just overkill on them, with or without a Snare Removal skill. Dodging with a bow is their major expedition buff only and most DKs/Templars are SnB+2H set ups anyways so they don't even have that going for them.
