I just want to comment that adding more easy overland content (summerset) isn't that appealing to me.
I'd also like to add, an option (buff/debuff) to make all overland content more difficult with an increase in loot quality would be welcome.

yup... i did this for the new toon rewards. though it was an elf magplar. without the cp and crafted gear/pots/food it is no faceroll.6 -

Well, that's one opinion. One that I do not share.
Should ESO provide a difficulty slider? sure, should risk/reward be tied to the slider? sure.
Do I and many others want all trash mobs to be a challenge? NO THANK YOU!
I preferred the game pre. 1-Tam where I could lay waste to lower mobs and go to higher level areas for a challenge when I desired. I do not want or need every trash mob I encounter in a zone to be challenging.

But it also attracts new ones in the process or brings others back who have taken time away. Swings and roundabouts and all that malarkey. People will get bored regardless.

Youre right, but ZoS made the choice to make the content acessible to everyone. I just started using silly sets instead of meta sets for overland, and it solved my fun issue =P1 -

✭✭✭✭OP do yourself a favor and never look for anything resembling difficulty in this game. It will never happen since this game is catered to people that like easy games. Instead think of PvE as an interactive book. If you want good PvE then play something else like monster hunter, dark souls or Bloodborne.1 -

I mean, the broom and bucket were nice for two-hander wielders, but what are the rest of us supposed to do? I want a feather duster and bucket lid for sword and board, or dual-wielding rolled up newspapers, or a "brat kid" type rubberband slingshot for bow users, or a "fairy wand" staff that does warm fuzzy rainbows instead of fireballs...

The NPCs in ESO have zero IQ and they're attacks are SO slow and predictable...

Adding health and making their light attacks do 20k isnt exactly making it more interesting either, like i said it just takes longer3
