Our purchase if expansions or dlcs should INCLUDE EVERYTGING we should NOT have to buy expansions and still have to buy loot crates to get cool stuff
Gaming is DEAD thanks to greedy zos and companies who do this

companies could avoid a ton of issues with just a little common sense.

ESO Plus was initially sold to us as granting access to all four (FOUR) DLC per year. We got several quarters without a DLC, and now are permanently getting one less DLC per year due to the expansion pack model they're going with. ESO Plus has, instead of decreasing in price, gotten new systems associated with it to make up for the lost DLC.
Of course, we need new systems for ESO Plus every year to continue to make up for the loss. Hanging their hat on the craft bag isn't an option, that replaces one DLC at best. So I would recommend keeping up the pressure to make more ESO Plus systems and keep it an attractive offering. My personal recommendation for this year : no gold cost at the outfitting station for ESO Plus members.
So we should just accept it ? The only reason they get away is because people let them. The point here is misrepresentation. Quoting their Terms “ ESO Plus member will have access to all DLC content, game packs“ to me “all” means “all”. Thy should change their terms of service.

Its not double dipping. Its actually a hybrid system in which players can decide how much they want to spend on a game, because no matter how much you charge, player seem to think that games should be 100% free and that devs should not need to get paid to go to work.
The hybrid system allows you to pay for what you want and nothing you dont.
* Base game, no commitment: One price access to all original areas, play as much as you want, never spend another penny.
* Sub: Extra benefits for a monthly fee. If you want to support the game on a monthly basis, we will give you more benefits than a "free" player.
* Prem currency: Want to buy extras? A costume? Mount? Pets? Maybe your own personal banker? Pay for what you want, and nothing you dont.
It gives people options which appeals to more people. Some people like MT style of play, others( like me) prefer to just sub, and some just want to pay one price for X content and not have to worry about buying anything else to keep playing.

you realize we signed a new one before the announcement, in addition to that the tos is allways in thier favor and they can change its terms at anytime, even on the fly.
if we tried to fight that in court we would more then likely Loose badly even with a good lawyer because they hold all the cards with our signature on it and it goes according to other terms we cant control.
basicly they have free ticket to do as they please = el33t
Right, so... I look at it this way:
I played WoW for a number of years. $15 a month got me access to the game and nothing else. Expansions were purchased, separately from the sub-fee, between $45 and $60 each. On top of that, if you did not buy the expansions, you could not participate in the max level content.
I could play ESO for $0 a month, but my $15 a month gets me a lot of little extras, like 1500 crowns, more exp, faster research, a crafting bag, costume dyeing, and of course, the ability to try DLC content before I buy it. As an added bonus, if I were to not purchase the expansions or the DLCs, I can still participate in the majority of the end game content.
So, considering what I’m used to seeing, I don’t mind it when Zos chooses to create a rather large DLC and then call it an expansion. Everything else is, imo, more fair than what I’m accustomed to, so I’m willing to support the development of expansions by paying for them.
No no, you are brainwashed because you can't live without stupid shiny useless things from crown boxes.monktoasty wrote: »Anotherone773 wrote: »Lets look at this logically. If:

No there isn't any choice. You have to buy the game to play it then you have to buy loot crates for cool stuff.
It used to be you buy the game..then get to use in game gold or unlock cool stuff by playing the game.
You new gamers are insanely brain washed

I'd be fine with paying for expansions if they were genuine expansions. Not single-zone DLCs being marketed under a different name just exclude it from ESO+.

It’s your money, I’m not going to tell you what to do with it. I’ve just personally found that Zos is pretty fair compared to some of their competitors when it comes to their monetization. Sure, they charge out the yang for cosmetic items, and the limited time bs is frustrating, but the rest is pretty good by comparison.
