This is the Prisoner's Rags motif given as a reward at level 40. It might be more use if you could hide the shoulder and waist as well as the helmet.

I think there should also be "hide" options for:

    - Shoulders
    - Gloves
    - Belts

Anything other than that seems slightly unecessary for the game

I agree! I just want to run around in prisoner rags. They are awesome.

Shoulders, Gloves, Belts, and Boots can be hidden. Those can add to the immersion factor for some RPers. Considering this is a combat era type of game, chest and legs should be mandatory at all times because of the protection functionality of it. It would be completely counter productive to see someone not having those equipped in combat

Yes, I think that if you wanted to play a Nord type charcter with no shirt, then hiding chest and shoulders is a great option...

Likewise, some outfits would looks great with just a chest but no shoulders... some costumes are already like that, Nedic Keptu for example.

NO, I don't see a need to hide your pants ;)

And while we're at it, ban all Light armour, because that would be no protection? Or disallow the use of costumes? This argument is for a different game than ESO.

We already have nordic bather's towels, I don't think pantsless characters would change a whole lot.

Combat ear type of game.... armor was a luxury that most could not afford. A piece was a treasured item. The romanticized view of the masses all equipped with full sets is false.

This is a fantasy game with magicka. We have to take at value that armors are all infused to enhance protections as all is protected the same regardless to where one is hit.

Where is your protection functionality in leaving the throats exposed without a gorget or bevor? if you can accept that the combatant is fully protected with a such a soft target exposed then why not with a visual of less armor?

I fail to see how a visual of a character is counter productive in combat. Does it change how you attack, no. If they did not have the items equipped, would you hit unprotected areas, no. If they wear a costume that conceals their armor types do you change how you attack, no. It is just a false statement to justify your belief.
