The "Dwemeri Monocular Contrivance" accessory is being incorrectly hidden on beast races

Steps to reproduce:

Log onto an Argonian or Khajiit character.
Equip the "Dwemeri Monocular Contrivance" facial accessory.
Activate the "Hide Helm" hat collectible

Expected results: Facial accessory should still be visible.

Actual results: Facial accessory is hidden.

Notes: I can only reproduce this bug on my non-humanoid characters--when I tried this on an Altmer and Dunmer, it worked as expected. I suspect that the problem is that the Argonian and Khajiit models of this collectible were somehow being flagged as hats. I have not noticed this problem with other collectibles (though I only tested a couple of others).

Have you found a workaround for this problem yet? (I was having the same exact problem, and commented on another forum post and I remember you having this same problem.)

I discovered a solution last night that if you turn Hide Helmet OFF in the Collections and then go to an Outfit Station and turn Hide Helmet ON that way it FINALLY shows up. They'll still need to fix the problem in the Collections menu someday.

I hope this helps at least a little if you're still having the problem.

Have also noticed this on other facial accessories, all of the dwemer type, Deep Elf Goggle-Horn. Dwarf Style Brow Shields. Dwemeri Monocular Device.
