Fishing spot in my home

I would like to have a fishing spot in my house. When fishing it, I would have a chance to catch any rare fish. Or maybe like the attunable stations an attunable fishing spot per region. Something like that.
What do you think?

I want fishing spots in my house too. Granted I have my little piece of river in Sleek creek crammed with plants, decorative rocks, palm trees, the AA trophy, pets and the Master Angler boat, so there's really no room for one there, but lot of other larger homes would be super sweet if they have fishing spots. Might...even..pay...crowns..for...one...

I would pay a ton of crowns for anything that would let me skip having to go do any of the PvE stuff in Cyrodiil. Sadly they probably won't do this because it would let me skip some of the PvE stuff in Cyrodiil.

hell id even be happy with one (in any home that has water) with the same rules as any fishing spot.. Fish from that zone/water type, and same time from when the spot disappears and comes back after being fished. I dont think that would do any harm at all.

tbh when i first bought the daggerfall overlook, back in homestead, i had a slight bit of hope that i could fish in the ocean >_< but it only makes sense you would be able to so obv i couldnt >_<

It would cost you more crowns, so better buy real fishing rod and go fish on a lake...

For me, it would even suffice to have a fishing emote at hand. So I can just travel home and relax with some fishing. No need for any loot whatsoever...

The idea of having a spot you can activate to play the fishing animation would be good. I doubt that a functional Fishing Hole would work, not just for the achievement angle (groan!) but the need for attuning to water type and region, which just makes it way too complex.

But for chillin' out with your fishing buddies, it would be great, especially if there was a /drink&fish combo emote.

I would pay hella crowns for something like this if it would let me avoid Cyrodiil and still do my fishing achievements. I would pay hella crowns for ANYTHING that let me avoid Cyrodiil and still get PvE achievements that force interaction there.

If it had a new rare fish, and/or selection of cookable fish, great, but I wouldn't want it to allow the catching of all fish types.

Wouldn't mind a fishing hole allowed but you shouldn't be able to catch any of the fish you can catch outside your home. Put in a few different kinds of worthless fish and have a very very small chance of catching some of the furniture items you can get from fishing. That way you have a reason to fish but it doesn't affect fishing in the rest of the game.

Everyone quickly tunes their fishing spot to cyr ocean.

It would be cool to have a fishing spot and a few plants even if they could only be harvested once a day and therefore didn't actually amount to much in the way of resources. It would be a neat RP thing. I would probably even fish in it from time to time for the novelty and the feeling that my house had something cool in it.

As long as it follows the same parameters as other fishing spots in the same zone I think it would be awesome. I would feel like I was cheating if it never ran out of fish or let me get rare fish not native to my zone.

I don't agree with having an attunable fishing spot, but I would sure like to be able to fish (and/or have a fishing emote) on properties with water. Available pond = lake fish, stream = river fish, etc. It could (and probably should) have a limited respawn rate of once every 12 hours from when last fished, and I would be happy.

It's just weird to be standing on the shore of someplace like Hunding's Palatial, and be unable to cast a line.

Could you either add waves to Topal Island or provide an option to turn off the sound of waves?

For me, it's probably the most irritating immersion breaker in housing to hear waves but have a completely placid shoreline.

I really would like to see this, and I think is that you should be able to catch the fish based on the zone you are in. Small incentive to collect homes in different areas.

I also agree that a respawn rate would be a good idea.

I would love to have a fishing spot in my house, I'm not sure if attunable would be practical as you would need so many, but it would be cool to be able to catch furnishings from the housing fishing holes

Since you brought up Grand Topal Hideaway in THIS particular thread, i just realized that if you own it, it means that you currently have your very own private island that you CANNOT fish on...RIGHT on the ocean...where most of the fish in the world are...think about that for a second!

Fishing spots would give homes another purpose (which would be good, considering how many people ask "What's the point of owning houses?" all the time), making the price you have to pay for the homes with deep enough water more worth it.
