Zaan is so easy to break, to be hit 8 times you'd have to be standing still
To understand my point you'd have to be able to read too. But you seem unable...
GL with your quest for nerfing though

It's not like classes don't have some counter to it one way or another.
Templars Javelin the person away, Purge it or heal thru it, DK can just root/fossilize and get away, Sorcs streak away or shield up, NB can cloak it off or fear to get away, Warden technically can purge it with Blue Betty (it's sort of up to RNGesus at that point) and if that doesn't work, heal thru it.
Show me a GOOD player(s) that are constantly being destroyed by Zaan and maybe I'll concede it needs adjustments but I personally don't see Zaan as a problem so much as I see free AP from bad players being bad (Or lag issues but that's a ZOS server problem more often than not).
medium stam dk does what? sorry, but they don't use roots or fossilize and they can roll away out of range if the opponent can walk forward.
If that DK isn't using any CC, they deserve to die. I've seen StamDKs use Stonefist for the knockdown + Helping Hands passive so it's not like they're totally helpless. Then there's also Dizzy Swing (albeit less reliable a CC) that can still create some distance to break Zaan, if it connects.
Yes theres dizzy swing which any good dk will be using. You play console though? Its not hard to pop immovable pot when zaan procs. Or its against an L2 build and dizzy swing becomes useless. Zaan should be interruptible.

Proc Zaan just to get instantly purged, thus completely negated, and put on 18 seconds cooldown. What a super overpowered set!!!!

With the removal of AOE caps small group PVP is now better than ever. I really wish the 1vXers would disappear from the game and stop making everything not fun.

Assuming everybody was a nb then yes it can be countered by cloak, but not all player base is a nb.

They could increase the duration but keep the damage for a "quick" fix but I don't know if that's a solution.
You mean increase the duration and lower the damage per tick so it still puts out the same dps but you can actually heal through it? Thats not a bad suggestion. Or am I misunderstanding what you said?

2 are without cp in the red tree, BUT with an actual build and the 30k one is with an actual build and cp in the red tree. No monster set should do that

Maybe stop bathing in the beam?
Stun and/or root the enemy + dodge roll behind him + sprint for a couple of meters more and youre out of its range. Bonus points if you chug a speed potion.

LOL creating an entire build just to counter the meta that is some asinine bs that ive ever heard. No wonder this game has no balance.

It's called Anti-META. It's actually a healthy aspect in competitive PvP games. As long as a Anti-META exist for the META, the game can maintain its competitive PvP claims. (Looks at all of the top notch PvP eSports titles.) It's up to you as a player to counter META with Anti-META. It's actually why out of all of the Fantasy MMORPGs with PvP. ESO is my absolute favorite, when It's working for me of course.

@Girl_Number8 That is a trend that these forums have been following as if lately. It’s rather unfortunate indeed.
