What is your opinion on the de-buff of defile? Both from a PvE and PvP perspective. Should it be buffed, nerfed, or left as it is?
Also, I please be aware that I’m talking about both major and minor defile. As well as sets and or mechanics that apply practically “perma-defile” (e.g. Durok’s Bane).

Love Wizard✭✭✭✭✭It is fine, because...Its fine, in PvE its useless more or less, would be cool to see it interact with the likes of the mage's hp gain in execute phase. Its pretty brutal in PvP though

✭✭✭It should be nerfed, because...It's needs to be reworked for non-CP. Heals already take a massive hit in non-CP unless you spec as a healer.

Heal debuffs are typically a sign that game developers either can't or don't want to balance dps v. mitigation/heals/etc. I still see this as a more positive thing than the procset FPS meta. However, it's essentially just a procset debuff meta with only a tiny bit more of an associated skill level. The Durok's wearer has to survive for a bit before they can reap the benefit.

✭✭It should be nerfed, because...In PvE it doesn't matter, however in PvP it made me stop playing healer as there is barely any point to being one in smallscale PvP anymore. Defile as a concept is fine however it has gotten way out of hand and you basically can't heal at all going up against organized teams. Add in resource poisons which force you to run 4-5k regen do even sustain and you can basically forget healers outside of zergs. Passifest✭✭✭✭It should be nerfed, because...There is a definite problem with the usage of defile against low healing people with no purge. Defile is meant to be used against healbots but most of the time the healbots can just purge the defile which is ironic. I don't know the solution to the problem but all I know is that it doesn't do enough to healbots and it does way way too much against people who can't heal very much in the first place.4

✭✭✭✭✭Other. (Please explain.)It’s a double edged sword. If you nerf it there goes your ability to deal with heal tanks and just the generally op heals available to groups. If you leave it the way it is it’s op agaisnt normal builds. That’s the issue with eso pvp. Anything ZOS creats to try and deal with meta builds will be used to create a new meta that further punishes people who actually want to pvp and not pvmetabuild. Defile is generally too strong right now, but it’s a whole chain of things that are wrong and they’d all have to be fixed so just leave defile as is since it makes no real difference until ZOS stops promoting zerging and ball groups.2 -

Lets have a pvp raid, have a tanky Dk and call him zergbad, and give him a healer.
And now lets try to kill zergbad.
managed to get him to execute range? NOPE, BOL'd to max hp by an immortal templar healer.
Put some bleeds on him? NOPE, cleansed.
Put defiles on him? NOPE, cleansed.
Put dots on him? NOPE, cleansed.
Put major fracture on him? NOPE, cleansed.
dawnbreaker him? you guessed it, that is also CLEANSED.
Oh so how do we kill zergbad then?
Don't you worry, we have befoul+defile!!!
But wait, what do we do if the zergbad decides to use befoul+defile?
By having a healbot that uses cleanse!
IF you still haven't seen the problem in this example you just can't be helped.

I don’t know where I heard it from, but I think someone said that with the addition of the new undaunted 2pcs. monster set, you can now literally apply a permanent defile on players? Now supposedly this was already possible (or close to possible) with Durok’s, but now it’s like an actual thing. Is this true?
