Well we have the dropping of the 32bit client with the next update, that's probably going to give them the change to start pushing changes which don't also cater to older systems.Cherryblossom wrote: »Turelus
So what do you reckon on the chances of ZOS replying to this?
Your an ambassador, so how about you try and get ZOS to respond to these all too familiar complaints, they seem to ignore everyone who brings this up, so do you think you are in a position to champion the community and get answers.

Just want to let you know that we have been seeing your concerns. Game performance and loading screens is something that we're constantly monitoring and investigating ways to improve. That said, we do understand there have been an increase in reported issues lately, and we know it's frustrating. We have some fixes for loading screens coming to next week's PTS patch, and believe we have some leads for overall performance improvements that we're actively digging into.

Things might have also got worse recently if people have gotten updates regarding Meltdown and Spectre as ESO is very CPU intensive and those patches can potentially slow people's CPU's down.
Otherwise I would imagine the updates would be the same as always. They're looking at way to improve but don't have a perfect solution. We have some performance updates with Clockwork City.

@Turelus
So i take it that's a no, you are just going to make excuses for continued appalling performance, I really can't believe you are blaming this on Meltdown and Spectre, you are aware these are only recently updated issues and the performance issues have been ongoing for years,
What we require is for ZOS to own this issue and at least show they are attempting to fix the issue, we once upon a time, over two years ago had a thread created by ZOS regarding these very issues, It's been over a year since they even commented on their own thread.
So I ask again, what is it you do as an ambassador? Are you an ambassador for the Community or for ZOS?

Everything in Cyrodil leads to constantly disconnecting , rubber bouncing and freeze screen . This is so bad . I feel terrible for anyone paying a sub right now that pvps .
Almost 4 years now.
The issues are not new.
I got used to it.
If you use a VPN(it is allowed), the connection to the server/s is much better.
A big part of Cyrodiil problems is due to a bad game design allowing massive skills spam using annimation canceling, gear procs and the annoying poisons. Come on ZoS is a very big server load to porecess. I play GW2 too and never have seen lag like this game. Skills in GW2 have a counter, the gear there just bring you more of x stat, that means no ukillable exploit builds. ZoS nned think what really Cyrodiil need to have a good play experience. By the way i use a work arround to Long Load Screeens that work mostly of times, when join into a group just execute a /reloadui. I hoope this help you too guyss,

The performance has been unbearable for far too long now. I sat here one day and realised I had spent nearly 3 years fighting with lag, DC's and low fps to the point that it had become.the norm. I made excuses for it, and told myself that it was worth the poor performance for the quality of the games PvP.
I sat here playing as thread after thread got ignored by zenimax, content creators quit, guilds disbanded, and any semblance of organised competitive PvP died. I waited until it became too hard to find a fight, running for hours in a barren and laggy cyrodiil desperately looking for even just one decent fight a day.
One day I realised I was a fool, wasting my time. Zenimax let the PvP side rot. They crafted the most beautiful mmo ever seen for PvP, then let it die and hid the corpse. It was only when I stepped away from the game to try some other MMOs that I realised what this game had, it will never get back. Other games simply do not have these performance issues but still have as many if not more involved in PvP. Playing some games where the Devs listen and actually care about the community not just their wallets, you begin to realise just how little zenimax cares for PvP. And every day less players care too.
For four months I didn't even login once and it felt great. Cancelled my 3 year long sub. Now I play some casual PvP without a care for the game, not invested. Just how zeni wants us to play.
Tldr; if you are a serious pvpers in this game you are wasting your time. Easy to leave and enjoy a game where Devs actually care about PvP, just take the plunge.

What are you playing now? I'm hitting a wall with this game myself, being a diehard pvp player. I need a change, this game has become dull and repetitive in terms of pvp.
Hi,
I just wanted to make this post to acknowledge the lag problem that still exist in ESO. It is 2018 and ESO is about to mark 4 years anniversary.
My PC specs: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080ti, intel i7 7700k, 16GB of ram, Windows 10 pro 64 bit. 200MB Internet download Speed, 30MB upload.
I still face serious performance issues specially in Cyrodiil. You might think that I should hit at least 60 FPS considering my Graphics card right?, no you're mistaken, i get around 30 frames and the server lag is even worse. For me 60 is bad imagine the 30 FPS or below? My skills don't even work sometimes.
Instead of releasing the dragon DLC they're going to talk about on the next ESO live stream. I think they should consider a game health and performance rework DLC, wouldn't you agree?
I decided to post this because I don't see anybody caring enough about this issue, I feel like players got used to the bad performance already. We all love this game so so constructive criticism is welcome.

I have the exact same system, but i have 400 Mbit down and 40 Mbit up. I have almost no problems with the performance in this game. So maybe there is something else wrong with your system?
