Hello
First of I want to say I'm enjoying the game, and it does look nice. But I have some issues with the game. And the first impressions of a game, is importent. It can make you quit the game early on.
The game can be a bit laggy especialy in pvp. I can emagine this is due to the high graphics. But in pvp there just isn't room for it.
This brings me to PvP. I'm not much of a pvp'er, but i have tried it a little in this game. And to me, it comes of as being ridiculesly unbalanced in this game. I have been 1 shot, and 2 shot. I have tried where it was me and another that was attacking 1 person, and his hp didnt move at all.
Resourses. Trying to get resourses in this game can be a pain. This might be the worst mmo i have tried to get resourses in, atleast if you don't get an addon. I spend a couple of days trying to get mats for the first enchant writ i got. And the same with "cooking" (i eventualy got the poulty from a guildmate). And even with the addon I think i spend over 2 hours, running around, doing a little q's, every now and then while i was looking for that mat. It took about 1-2 days more to get it for the first alch writ. The alch writ im at now (the second or third one), i have had for 3-4 days. To me this is ridicules, and makes the game come off as a joke. And makes me quite confident, in that the developers has no clue, what goes on in-game. It should take this long to find the mat for your second or third crafting quest. Especialy when you end up spending more time, getting mats/looking for the right one, than actualy questing. Which it has been in my case, some of the day's. And i think i'm at my 4 or 5 enchanter writ, and i can't complete it, as i need 2 more levels (level 6) in the skill, so i can craft the glyph. To seems like poor planing from the developers. Again, they seem clueless about how it is in-game.
You inventory gets filled up so fast, so does your bank. I felt like i had to get the ESO, so i wouldnt have to spend more time running back and forth from the city, than actualy doing gets and other stuff. I get that you have to do something for the people that want to sub. But still it had to be said. And i do like my first month on sub, it improved alot on the quality of the game. If it wasn't for the storage for mats, the game would have been a pain, and to some extend, unplayable.
I have done a little PvP and some daily dungeons. And man, you just get gear thrown at you. I had to write it down, due to how your storaging works. It makes it come off, as you just had to do something different than other mmo's, and that you took the lazy route. It works really well for mats, as you can search for each profession and they are in alphabeticly order. Bit it works like crap for gear. As said, i fell like i have gotten a *** load of gear just by doing a little pvp and daily dungeons. And currently i have items for 24 different sets, in my bank. My hero is only level 20. As a new play that is overwelming, and as i can't arrange them my self, it is a pain trying to figure out how many i have of each set, and what set to use.
Lockpicking. The problem i have with this, is, i play on a PC, and the lockpicking tools movement seems WAY to sensitive, when it comes to moving to the sides. Often i jump 2 pins, just by moving the mouse a little. And i haven't increased the sensitivity of the mouse at any point.
I like how you can customize your skills. I whish that there were 1-2 slots more. But of what i have read, that is because of the console games.
Dungeons. My first experience with a dungeon wasn't so good. And i have heard the same from youtuber. You get in and these people just steamroll through the dungeon, and you might do something, if you arent trying to pick up from containers. I get that it isn't fun for those that have done it many times (i have done that myself in other mmo's). But it can ruin the experience for a new player. Guess this is the problem with level scaling. And i can't say how long it would take to get a group without it. Last time i did a daily, i think the queue was about 10 mins.
