Completely agree, BOP is a huge pain in the ass that makes gearing up for endgame content....PVE or PVP way more difficult then it needs to be. There's zero reason to force players into endgame activities they have no interest whatsoever in...only so they can prepare for another endgame activity. It's rediculous....that PVP gear can be sold on the market, but you have to do the content for things like Asylum weapons, dungeon sets, Maelstrom ect.

As things are, even if you enjoy say veteran dungeons/trials/VMA the drops are insanely random and it takes way too many repeats to get what you want. Transmutation is a minor step in the right direction, but IMO the real way to go would be getting rid of BOP and letting players sell this gear on market or using a token system to let players buy the exact endgame loot they want (could be given out like transmute stones are already).

Bottom line IMO, let players enjoy the content they prefer and stop forcing them to either grind content they have zero interest in for gear....or grind the same dungeon endlessly to get the right item piece/weight/trait. (Transmutation helps, but due to cost doesn't really solve the item trait problem).
