Pretty sure its a troll thread guys. But in case it isn't, flat no.
The day you can buy progression is the day I'm outta here.
You dont need CP anyway may all but the last 1% of PvE is a cake walk and the best PvP action is in NoCP hence Battlegrounds switching back.
I am being genuine and trying to provide helpful ideas for the game and its community.
I've never understood why people who for example have played a game for 4 weeks think they should be on a par with people who've played the game for 4 years. What would be the point of devoting time to playing a game if the next player to come along could just buy the progress that you've spent time achieving through playing the game? Why does it bother anyone that they need to take time to reach that level of progress, why don't they want to play the actual game but instead want to buy their way through it?
It's not that it should be in two weeks I think you are misunderstanding. Let me help.
A player that just starts the game and plays casually will take upwards of a year to catch up to CP cap. This is frustrating for two reasons. 1.) They feel like they are underperforming (which is true because of math) compared to others at CP cap. 2.) There is a lot of elitism that prevents people with less-than-cp-cap CP from joining groups.

Granted someone always says "X is pay to win"As the champion point cap is gradually raised the casual players are left feeling like they are in a never-ending grind to catch-up. Why not offer an alternative similar to EVE Online? EVE Online allows you to purchase skillpoints for your character. Why not allow players in ESO to buy "Champion Packs" on the Crown Store similar to mount speed and inventory space?I just can't see it happening.
Edit: I will also note that I don't like the Champion Point system, makes me feel like I'll never be able to compete or be "good" enough unless I'm at 720. Really kills the entire experience for people playing catch up like me ZOS.

Guild Wars 2 has boosts to max level.

GW2 is still a good game, though. Not ruined by the max level boosts.

I am one of those people playing catch up at 550ish CP. I feel like if I could quickly get to 720 one of my main motivating factors to keep playing would be gone. Part of my daily routine is leveling up a few CP's, I like the grind as it keeps me logging in. Sure there is lots more to do at endgame but I don't feel like I have ever been excluded from doing desirable content at my level either.

So by your example you will quit at 720cp

As much as I love EVE, this is not EVE. EVE's business model does not belong in this game, and if you want that, you should go play EVE.
Earn what you have.

So really you need to level up like everyone else.
Oh and in the past, leveling veteran ranks were much harder than is cp(when CP didn't even exist which made it even harder because no free perks right).

I am all in for permanent enlightenment till I get to full CP. We latecomers already missed so much fun, it's kind of tiring to grind so much. I am like 2 months in game and still CP 260. It seems like mountain ahead to reach 690/720.

And there's no skill whatsoever involved in earning XP faster, it's completely based on how willing you are to be bored senseless AOE grinding. The current inadequate CP catch up systems are nothing more then a barrier keeping people away from endgame content PVE or PVP.

I guess it is all perspective. I started at release but took about a year break returning with 1T. I am at about 530 CP. I don't grind. I have done my alliance quests and main story. I am about 50% into Cadwell's Silver. I have done most of Vvardenfell but still have Clockwork City and Dark Brotherhood to complete.
There is so much to do along the way. Maybe enjoy the journey instead of racing to the finish line?
