So it's safe to assume my bound stuff isn't going away

This post is to get a confirmation from ZOS that by my bound stuff will be 100% safe and will not be lost if I use the new chest system, yes I know the only known bug is when you delete the character but I'm afraid there might be a change that will have as a consequence the lost of all bound items deposited.

I readed the new patch notes and they say it won't happen even when you delete the character so Is it safe to assume we have green light to use it? @ZOS_GinaBruno

I would suggest never to delete a character with bound items still in the box still, or test it with just 1 who knows

That's why this post is created, 3 of my guilds are trading guilds and is not just me, there are a lot of people holding in using the system because they are afraid they might lose their bound items, Im talking about surveys, recipes, part of set etc, A lot of this stuff is not necessary to have in bank because you can use it for more actual needed in daily basis like potions, poisons etc.

So please @ZOS_GinaBruno can you help us

Yea I’m scared too. Zos will fix it in time, though. Let’s run some simple tests with valueless, bound dungeon pieces and see what happens.

See Kena, this is my point, to many of us have valuable stuff and those tests might turn out right and we will deposit all our valuables just to find out that after some new patch notes there are none in the chests.

i don't see a company sticking their necks out to guarantee something 100% safe when it already has to do with bugs and bugfixes. it doesn't sound like a realistic request, but good luck!

I tested with a troll king helm and a lich ring, deposited both items in the chest, created a new character, went to the house with him, took the items from the chest to the inventory and then back to chest, logged out and deleted the new character.

Both items are still there in the chest, I even took them out and equipped them to confirm it's not some kind of visual bug(lol). However don't blame me if your items disappear for some other reason(ZOS).

Thanks for this, appreciate it . But developers should be able to tell us "Go ahead, use it. I have tested intensively and there's no reason to fear your items will be lost"

What I've done is put everything in the bank that I want to store in the chest. My main, which I will never delete, removes it from the bank and puts in the chest.

I have my banker and chest in all my homes and so it's not really a big inconvenience and then I don't have to worry.

Well that’s why I specified initially placing only valueless bound items like dungeon drops in the storage chests. You could test the system without risking valuable gear.

Regardless, only time will restore our confidence in the reliability of housing storage.
