I won't play with anyone who plays in 1st person unless they swear up and down they'll never, ever use 1st person POV in group content or PVP.
Some of the only really, really terrible days I've had in ESO ultimately rested in someone using 1st person POV.

The only time I go about using first person, is if I am in need of getting my cursor lined up precisely to interact with something (usually home decoration warrants this).
