Scale Caler Peak - the plague boss is super tedious

This guy just has too much health for being such a boring boss...it takes way too long to down him...unless there is some secret mechanic im missing...really a boring fight no?

    Is that the guy where the grates open up and spew poison? If you listen to the NPC, he will tell you what to kill and bring him and throws down a power boost after he makes a concoction.

    Now the end boss, IMO, needs a tweak. The statues that shoot out disease and instant kill anyone (even in magma armor) doesn't give enough warning. The red isn't "get out of this", it's "hey, you are dead." You can remedy this by watching statues, but at this point, the red serves no purpose vs how it does in rest of game.

    Least frustrating of all the boss fights in that dungeon.

    Yeah it's instadeath, so if you get caught in the middle of a poison spew you're pretty much screwed because you can't dodgeroll out of it quick enough. In my group we all positioned ourselves between where the middle and left statues spew near the entrance, so it was easier to escape those two. But still, I got screwed before if the boss did her fire tether on me, and the poison spew of course happens where I land after the tether, so I didn't have enough time to dodge roll from it.

    Just another unfair rng mechanic. Positioning yourself at the edges is hardly possible, as other mechanics will push you out of your safe position and if rng is bad (which it is 95% of the time), they will just push you into the zone where you cannot get out quickly enough.

    vAA: Hardmode

    You have to kill the adds that jorvuld asks for. Then he creates the antidote which gives you WD, SD and ulti. Burn boss with ultis while he's stunned. Do that a few times. I like the fight, it's fun.
