On PTS they released a fix so you won’t be able to group queue on different factions anymore.

Cross-alliance groups can no longer group queue for Cyrodiil. When queuing in this situation, you will now be entered into your respective alliance solo queue.

    It's a good fix and something they should have done some time ago. For many people it may mean:

    "I will now have to get into cyrodil 2 hours earlier than usual and AFK macro at base until the time I intended to play "

    I may or may not be in this category.

    I really wish the servers could handle the population they were intended to.

    AD will continue to be vastly outnumbered by CE users and people with lagswitches.

    I don't know... I cannot know what will happen...

    Certainly, I kinda expect not to have to wait through ~30 to ~90 queue positions after this change... but I wouldn't know. It'll be interesting to wait and see, certainly.

    It will have 0 effect on me since I play one faction and the que will not change at all for the campaigns I play in. Somehow I do have this nagging doubt that ZOS will actually fix the issue and it will more likely be like all their "fixes" for charge abilities over the years

    ADs population lock will drop in half.
    Maybe AD won’t feel pop locked and outnumbered in vivec eternally. Then again I guess my whole factions is prolly eves and khajiits hiding in stealth.

    This addon will keep you logged in and not be booted, while waiting for primetime to start up lol.

    I still remember the graph Wheeler posted during the Thornblade times where the EP line went higher than the other factions during pop-locked, queue situations.

    Was this really being abused to the extent that AD made it out to be? Every day you would see AD crying in zone chat about how DC/EP abused this bug and that was the reason they suck and don't know how to defend a keep to save their friggin lives.

    No. It's been used by all factions. It's just a nice excuse to use when you're trying to explain how you lost.

    I tried it once as an experiment to see if it worked then never again - so the change wont impact me at all. Plus I normally solo queue anyway.

    I know players that exploit this. I am SOOO very happy it is going away. Now if only it cost 300,000 AP to bring your AD character into Vivec to help your DC buddy boost... that would be cool.

    Not sure if it's the change to the group queue or everybody is in the new dungeons. All I know is my queue went from an average of 100 down to be instantly ported in since Monday.

    PvP is always dead for first week or so of new pve patches

    This has been great.....more than half decrease in EP wait times. Cant remember the last time the wait was only 15 min in que during primetime.

    It won't affect me because I'm at work when it's NA primetime, and the population has always seemed fairly well balanced to me on weekends.
    AD is the best looking faction. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them.

    Too early to really tell, but considering what the AD Q has been lately at prime time (est time) and what the pop bars look like @3 the relationship seems to be more realistic. As far as the rest well who knows.

    More sorely disappointed that I read this as 'alliance lock per campaign' which I still think the game urgently needs
