Were you able to finnish Scalecaller Peak HM

Well today me and my group were trying to get the new skin from Scalecaller Peak dungeon. We did really easily all reqirements but HM. We know the mechanics but the way it buggs wont let us finnish it. Were you able to finnish HM in this dungeon ? Is so, do you have any hints ?
One hint i can share is that when boss targets you with fire waves, you can go behind the pole on the left side near the enterance and the waves wont hit you there. Another one is that when boss targets the tank with the flame beam you can take turns is blockong the beam for them since the damage multiplies with each hit (just as MS Zaan does)

I loved how poison spout spawning is a 50/50 chance. Also the telegraph on the poison spray from the dragon needs like a half second longer. If you get the AoE while in center of the cone there is literally nothing you can do. We had to straddle the edge of the three "cones" in order to get out in time with any hope... Also, also! Having the dragon breath coming as next mechanic after zaan beam is legit the most dumbest mechanic I have ever seen, since you are soft CC'd while floating back to the ground and the poison wave passes before you can move your living or dieing is literally a roll of the dice when that happens. No possible way to survive that.

My advice, bring three Magplars in kagrenac and one DK Tank. Rez game needs to be on point.

10/10 buggiest dungeon I've ever played.

Yeah the poison spew is awful. A few times I died because I was caught in the middle and even if I dodgeroll straight away, I'll die right on the edge of it. A few times I died because yeah...the Zaan beam softs CC's you and doesn't give you enough time to get away because OF COURSE the poison spit spawns right on top of you.

Didn't do hard mode yet, but even the non-hard mode is a little buggy. Sometimes in the beginning the ice atro and nereid will be there with the boss, sometimes they aren't.

    What's buggy?

the one shot statue breath is easily avoidable:
My suggestion is always position yourself (when looking at the Dragon statues) in between the statues, so strafing to right or left is easily done to avoid it.

50/50 chance? You are being way too kind! Also even when we did get the geyser if you don't time it exactly right the poison spray will kill you as you are coming down or going up. The beam we have the tank grab it extra early because you could stand in it and it not encase you. Poison Spray.. we all stayed right up under the heads huddled like homeless people around a campfire after the first threshold. When the person got targeted with the waves and had to move out we would say.. "my the RNG poison spray gods be with you." I think the funniest moment is when the ice circle came at us all huddled. We tried to make a mad dash away and poison spray... RIP... LOL! Thats when we decided to wait until at least the geyser is fixed. We figure we will always have one person to rez and have time while she is getting her shield, but two rez's every time is a huge pain in the A--!

I wanted to add that even with all the bugs we are super happy it is a challenge! We enjoyed figuring out the mechanics (we didn't watch anyone's vid's or posts)! So even with the bugs well done on the delves ZOS!

    Nope. Reason? RNG.

After few hours we've managed to take him down do 50% until we gave up. All of us knows mechanics. But every time there was a wipe because of that poison from statue, because we had bad luck and we were standing in unlucky spot. Of course you can roll dodge from it, but unfortunately even after roll dodge you still die from it, even if you're already out of range of the poison. Also the geyser sometimes didn't spawn at all, which means at least 1 person is gonna die.

I like hard dudgeons but this one needs serious adjustments. Can't wait for next ESO Live when devs (hopefully without dev cheats) are gonna do the HM.

Guys... you´re two days into these dungeons. Also, HM is supposed to be hard. I didn´t do it myself yet, we already struggeled with regular vet. The Breath is the most annoying. What we did in the end was staying really close to the statues. If you´re at the middle or end of the room, the cone gets to big to evade. Stay closer to the statues, this equals less way to get out and makes it way more manageable.

Also, could someone explain what bugs there are atm making it harder? We didn´t encounter any. All mechanics have a way to deal with them. Kiting or hiding flame waves, killig frosty adds, taking turns in breaking the beam ... all worked as intended as I saw.

We tried today in Vet and we just couldn't manage to get past the two ogres near the beginning, the big melee guy hits for like 70k and we died a lot so we gave up for now. Also i noticed the alchemist guy has nearly 6mil health on norm seems a bit over tuned if you ask me.

The poison seems to just spawn if you dont stunn her during her poison breath phase, at least for us it worked.

The HM is really challanging mechanic wise and I really love it. The overall dungeon difficulty seems a litten low. The trashmobs in both dungeons are a joke.

Play the mechanic correctly and you will beat him:
ceep them separated from each other so they dont get buffed, freeze yourselve when melee does his frost attack, hide behind big ice pillar when mage does his ice ball attack. Kill them nearly at the same time.

Yes our group did the HM but we struggled
Yeah, but it literally took us 3 hours, so it was painful. No-death and speed run were a whole lot easier...

Here's a couple of tips that might help:

    1. Take it easy on the dps, she spawns the ice mages every 20% so you have all the time you need to res and get back on your feet.
    2. The arena is basically spread into three sections. As you only have about 2 seconds to get out of the poison cones, you have to stand right on the border between two of them to make sure you can just sidestep into the other one. This is really important. Also, have everyone stand on the same border so you can reliably shield the person that gets beamed.
    3. You can sidestep the fire waves while standing right in front of the boss. It literally doesn't hit you when you stand in her face and strafe left and right.
    4. Assign one person to each of the mechanics. We found best to be: One DD on the Orb because it isnt always there when you need it. As soon as you see that the ice mages die in time, go grab it as it takes a few seconds to arm. The other DD should use the geyser. Helaer can use the ice aoe, and the tank can go grab the shield because the tank doesnt have anything to do in the ice phase, so the can just watch where the shield will go and run there.

There's a few things that they need to change:
Increase the reaction time to the poison by at least 2 seconds. It is insane, with all the snares there you can't move. Can't remember how often I died on my tank because I couldn't dodgeroll and was snared by at least 80%.
Fix the poison geyser mechanic. It spawns only half the time, so annoying. For as long as this bug is there, make sure to assign a DD to it and res immediately after the three poison waves are over.

I won't even try the new dungeons for now because they are probably still full of bugs and also one of my secondary concerns is that I may get suspended for exploiting them without even knowing it. And I'm by no means someone who shies away from content generally. I've done all other dungeons HM on 5 characters (just 2 are missing Bloodroot Forge HM) in all roles.

@Masel92 Would it work to have the tank run a backbar 2H for Forward Momentum to get rid of the snare? If the snare is a problem, snare immunity or purge spam should help tremendously. Keep in mind I have zero experience in the new dungeons and close to zero knowledge of them atm lol. Just a thought though upon reading your comment.
