In any other company, when people would use "bugs" from their product it would always be blamed on the company. They dont seem to have any legit quality testing, because this one here is just ridiculous to oversee and exploits are just a proof that ZOS made mistakes in their code so the first one to blame is always ZOS.
I am going to be so salty if I get a ban because my characters were still in IC from yesterday's grind. I didn't get any unusual exp though, so I hope I am fine.

Go to IC, kill a mob...get banned? GOTTA BE A FIRM, HARD LINE!
You haven't been reading then have you, missed out on the part where each mob net you 2m xp
And? The only thing you have to do to 'exploit' is travel to a zone and kill an NPC.
Broken as that is how does that classify as exploitative behavior?
Because it gave you 1 1/2 cp per kill and any right minded person would know that wasn't legit
If he noticed he gained 1 cp from one kill he should have backed out immediately, but if he was so close to leveling and that 1 kill would have leveled you anyway, the 2nd mob you killed and got a full level you know somethings wrong
It is an exploit though, the mobs weren't supposed to give you 1 cp per level, the legit xp was supposed to be around .2-.5% of a cp level per mob kill I believe, not 100-150%
How idiotic to even have the nerve to treathen banning people for this.
ZoS should be ashamed of themselves, how on earth are you always able to break more then that you fix.
New DLC and talk of the day is about moar bugs as usual, LMFAO!

This is EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH ZOS
A poor innocent guy who was logged in IC is now waiting anxiously to see if he's been banned or not. Simply because all they say is 'we are dealing with bans on a case by case basis'
No. You tell us what you are banning people for. None of this beating around the bush nonsense. These are REAL PEOPLE AND REAL CUSTOMERS you are dealing with. It is not right or fair to make people worried for their own account like this. Even if they did nothing wrong, who's to say you wouldn't just ban ANYONE who was even in IC during the bug. I wouldn't put it past you.
It's just like the AS bug from before. I was in AS when it happened, absolutely terrified if my account was gonna be taken from me or not, because there is just no transparency.
Whatever, I haven't even logged into Dragon Bones yet, so I'm fine. But you could be upsetting a lot of people (like this guy) with your wishy washy explanations.
And I know we ask for you to tell us what's going on, you could have just been silent about it and not said anything. But don't you think it would be better if A.) You ban people, then tell us AFTER that you banned people. OrTell us you are in the process of banning anyone who, for example, gained over 50 million xp, over 10 million xp, was in IC at the time of the bug, etc. At least then people could have some idea of whether or not they hit such numbers accidentally
Idk, I'm just salty from the outfit slots

Continuing to grind after noticing the amount of XP gained. And dinging a champion point every mob can't be overlooked.

If not, was his own lookout. Sorry. Cheaters are not tollerated.
But this isn't cheating?
Cheating, is typically involved with a 3rd party program, not something that for whatever reason was "programmed" into the game for a brief period of time.
Your confusing hacking with cheating, hacking is backdoor programs, cheating can be either hacking or exploiting
