Torug's pact/spell power cure nb sap tanks are pretty damn effective supports. They'll definitely support your damage output more and they build ultimate faster than a dk tank for warhorn. I don't see why anyone wouldn't want that in a 4 man

Hi there , a question , how to solve the sustain problem with this setup?
Whichever DLC HM or Vtrial , Just curious .

DK & Warden are the best choices for tanking veteran trials since they have an effective way to sustain their stamina: Battle Roar and Helping hands for DK and Bull Netch for Warden. Other classes can't block for extended periods of time since they can't recover stamina while blocking: Templar can only repent if there are bodies, and even if they were a stamina Templar DD will get more benefit from them, NB return from siphoning is worth only if you constantly weave light attacks for the duration of the skill, and Sorcerer can only Dark Deal if he finds an opening, which is not always there. Tanking is the most restrictive role class-wise and will become even more so after the changes to block cost formula come into effect.

After Morrowind, Sap Tanking just isn't the same. Before, we could get great damage and sustain with Siphoning Attacks alone. Now, I struggle with resources because I either pick Leeching for stamina to block with no real "Sap" for Sap Tanking, or Siphoning for magic sustain with only heavy attacks to restore Stamina, which doesn't always work out. Then, building for sustain leaves us without damage, meaning we barely heal ourselves, let alone squishy DPS. I get better results using Bahraha's Curse over Sap for self heals now since its doesn't cost a thing and procs like crazy but any class can do that.

I miss being able to Tank end game with my Sap Tank, cleared everything with him prior to Morrowind. Now, I'm luck to just survive vAA.

If you really hate yourself try tanking with a stamina Nightblade.......

Yeah a month ago I tried to Tank with my old NB SAP tank, and it was a complete bust. The Nerfing of Skills and Regen just made it non viable. Had to respec to DPS, and ONLY DPS :| because that's how the class is designed.

Siphoning attacks/spell symmetry/atronarch sign/magicka regen glyphs/argonian potion passive is plenty of sustain. Also group support helps which is pretty required to at least do hm vet dungeons or normal trials
