Yeah i'm all for that. It's a real PitA to try to synchronize queues. I'd love separate queues.

But ban groups from queueing? come on.

    Cmn, don't exaggerate.
Its not ban, but a temporaty easy action to solve complete disbalance - and make with this bg fair and popular, until they make separate bgs.

Banning groups from the only source of balanced (at least as far as you can have balance with three teams instead of two) PvP in the game is ludicrous.

If you want solo PvP go duel people. If you’re going to put restrictions on BGs, it’s solo queuers who should have the restriction. But there’s no reason for that. They can queue. They just won’t win all the time.

Everyone can play how they want to play. If you want to win, get a group. a good group. You know, because it’s group vs group PvP.

I’m just having a hard time trying to understand the mental gymnastics that solo queuers are going through to try to justify blocking groups from participating in group vs group PvP. And I solo queue quite a lot.

You know what I do when I’m solo queueing and come up against a premade? I get my own group together.

    Try it.

There is nothing balanced in stomping on pugs with a premade. Don't lie to yourself, you know very well that only like 1 in 20 games are actually competitive and not a stomp fest whenever you queue with a premade.

No, he probably thinks he is just that good. It happens all of the time in CP vs no-CP discussions too when the 600+ CP player honestly thinks they are just more skilled than the >300 CP player. Currently BGs cater to both groups so you can see why they refuse to acknowledge the imbalance as it benefits them directly.

Actually all my best scores and K/Ds are achieved when I solo queue because when you have potatoes on your team you don’t have to worry about sharing killing blows.

Many of you think that banning premades from BGs will make the fights more fair. They won’t. All that will achieve is removing the possibility of a fair fight - the rare occurrence when all three teams are premades.

When you ban premades and make it truly random, all that will change will be new whines about group dynamics.

Last night on PC NA there was only one player in the BGs who could kill me, @don-jay. He’s in the same BG guild as me. We talk in guild chat all the time. Did we group up to stomp everyone else? No. We solo queued together because if we were on the same team it would have been boring.

But if a premade had shown up, that would have been amazing. We would have grouped up and added another two players and fought the premade, and that fight would’ve been significantly more fun than solo queueing and going 15-1 against mediocre players.

And now the bad players are trying to block premade fights? Let’s be real. You’d lose no matter what. If you did win it’s because you randomly get someone good on the team to carry you... but that’s random. Premade vs premade is not random.

I have already outlined, in detail, what I think ZOS needs to do to fix BGs and banning premade was not the issue. BGs has way bigger problems and premades only make the experience worse for 90+% of all players.

The game mode is suffering for other reasons. Still, there should be a way for solo players (or groups of 2) to queue against other randoms. Groups of 3 do nothing to solve the problem since they would get a single random, which is why I suggested making BGs F2P for the base game and simply adding restrictions like not being able to queue with a group to help compensate for the MM. Morrowind owners could join a solo-only queue, while F2P BG players would get a random MM with low priority to join.

Thus is just a single way to salvage the game mode but if players want a CP BG then it needs to be after ZOS stabilizes/increases the active population. Time-limited CP BGs could be an option as well; where every other weekend a CP queue is available. Other special events could occur on other weekends as well.

I like when I’m in a premade. But I dislike when I’m not and then subsequently get a taste of my own medicine by fighting a pre made. I’m 100% for separating pre made and random. Unlike some people’s idea months ago of separating CP and non CP (which would make que times go way up) I think it would actually be fine. Even make the premade like a tournament standing with really nice rewards at the end. Some real competition.

On a side note, they should have a premade que where you start off with a random class and gear (same random gear the other team gets) and have 30 seconds to pick your skills hahaha.
Hey everyone! Look! It's a signature!

So you want to be able to play in a premade for the possibility to have that very competitive premade v premade v premade match?

    PERFECT!!!

This suggestion is tailor made for you!!!

Separate premade and solo queues, and you and your premade can sit in that queue and wait for that perfect match you always wanted!

Inb4 hurr durr it would never pop. Sure it will, it would pop at the same rate one of those competitive 3 premade games pops up on the live server!

I don't understand why everyone is so opposed to premade and solo queues being separate.

Every premade guru in here comes with the same argument: I want competitive games with my friends.

You're welcome to have competitive games with your friends against someone else and their friends. Meanwhile leave us alone in our own separate solo queue.

I think either your attention span or your reading comprehension is lacking. I can't find a single reasonable guy in this thread being opposed to separate queues. I only find people (including myself) being opposed to excluding premades from one single queue as bandaid solution to please one subset of players and alienate another.

I do agree, banning premades altogether is a terrible choice. I do like premades myself, just not when they involve stomping innocent noobs.
