Just getting back into the game and I find it hard not to make money. In the month or so that I've been back, I've spent probably about 500k and have around 400k left in the bank. I just vendor trash gear and post everything I don't need that's worth 500+ on the guild stores, except for crafting mats which I hoard.

Everything you do in this game makes you money.

I've only had 300k or less for the past half year or so. The most I've had in gold has been 900k or so when I got the Black Market Mogul dye last spring. If I sold all of my housing items I would have around 2m or so

Way more than 2mil but not like some of the over 2mil people who have posted. I don't hustle, I don't sell gold tempers, I don't farm motifs, I don't flip or scam less savvy players out their valuable mats, I don't charge for bites, I don't bomb-ball farm in Cyro I don't Tel Var farm, I don't rip ppl off in zone chat sells, I don't use bots or exploits, I don't belong to 5 big trade guilds, I don't belong to a guild trying to corner the market in some city or on certain items. There's a lot of ways to get rich in this game, most I find undesirable. So I found my own way. Don't feel bad if you're not making a ton of gold. Stick with the game long enough and you'll find your own way of making enough gold for the things you want.

Actually sitting around 1.3mil, would've been around 2.5mil but I bought a lot of stuff over the last months. I also haven't dedicated much of my time specifically to gold making, just selling collectibles, gear and mats I don't really use. And unless its a real hot item (less often now due to transmutation) I don't sell many items much higher 5k an item. it can be done with minimal effort I think.

I used to have 1,5 milion in bank but after I realised that so many cool furnitures awaits from achievements, I now make all quests like mad. The goal is to buy all achievement furnitures and make a proud gallery for my Forsaken Stronghold.

Reaching 1.5M now. I have a mansion though and several of the smaller houses. The stuff I drop on guild stores are mostly intricate items and recipes which seldom go for over 200g. All the expensive motifs like Ancient Orc and DLC ones I feed to my alts instead of selling, so it takes me a very long time to save money.

Any pieces of white gear I sell. Green and above get deconned. Never sold tempers or mats because my crafting bag just swallows everything I pick up so I'm not even aware of the amount of stuff I'm holding. Stealing is okay. Dailies are okay. Writs are okay. But gold isn't that much of a priority so I don't feel pressured to make more and faster anyway.

I’m sitting at a hair under 8MM. Was “Stuck” at 6.5MM for weeks but made another push and stopped bidding on everything in my guild auctions.

im always around 3 mil but i buy houses,motifs and furniture recipes more often lately
so i can get down to 2,6 mil for a 7-10 days till i raise missing gold again

Back to over 6 million at the moment - after spending about 25 million buying over 40 houses.

Only 1 more house left to buy with in game gold but I cannot get it until I have completed the HotR dungeons in vet mode... darn pre-requisites.
