Why not make Home Storage per Home? As it is now, unless you just want to collect each house or decorate--there is no real incentive to purchase additional homes. They look great but they provide no real benefit to ownership.
As it stands now, I will not be purchasing any additional homes! However, if each home provided additional storage I would absolutely buy more homes. Wouldn't this be a plus for Crown Store sales.. I seriously do not understand the logic of having the storage chests not tied into Home size and available per house.

Not only is the OP's idea bad for this reason, but the game provides nearly 4,000 inventory slots already ... not including the crafting bag or stacked inventory.
Inventory slots add up when you talk about 15 characters, bag and bank space, mount upgrades, and now 360 slots of housing storage.0 -

victoriana-blue✭✭✭✭I like that the contents of the containers are shared across houses - I won't have to remember if I put my IA jewellery in Jungle House or Velothi Reverie, because I would be able to access it from both.

I know it's a convenience factor for some.
But, I'd rather spend in-game vouchers, tel var, or gold (to buy master writs) ... than pay real life money for rudimentary housing storage.0
