Bare feet for Argonian and Khajiit characters.

Bare chests for people who want to look as sad as Sai Sahan.

I think people who want to fight naked should do so without the benefit of armour. Isn't the Nord Bathing Towel enough?

It's not like the people who want to run around 'naked' don't already. Being able to hide item pieces other than just helmet will make the system even more versatile than it is so far.

For those who also want everyday clothing instead of just armor, I'd even go so far as to saying a hide weapons option, IF they're sheathed. RPers, and anyone else, could toggle their everyday outfit and walk around town without needing to unequip anything or be armed to the teeth to shop for groceries in Daggerfall.

Really, this system is a DIY costume creator (ish) and there's no reason to limit it to armor only other than the arbitrary restrictions put in place by the design team. More options for normal clothing (may) be coming, but in the meantime, being able to hide different pieces will go a long way towards more unique outfits and will function no different than costumes now. The Nord bathing towel is a perfect example of chestless, pantless, shoeless costume already in game.

Even if every other piece stayed visible I'd love to be able to hide shoulder pads. They just don't look right on most of my characters.

At the moment I go for the half-measure of converting them to the Imperial style whenever I can (and I have actually passed over some pieces with better stats than I had because I couldn't convert them) which is generally ok because they're relatively small, but that's not always an option and can still look silly with some armour. I'd love to be able to hide them completely.

More generally I'd completely support adding the option to hide any piece, to increase the variety available. As other people have said the people who want to run around naked/semi naked already do. Either by using things like the bathing towel or bosmer costume or by actually taking all their armour off. But the ability to hide certain pieces when putting together an outfit has much wider applications.

I agree. Not giving players the option to hide any item isn't going to stop those that want to. Plus, there are many MMORPG's out on the market without a "M" rating that have the option to hide armor slots. I welcome the ability to customize over restrictions.

"Hide" shouldn't be an option to begin with for any sort of armor.

Rather, if you want to show off your toon's good looks, the game should automatically have your toon remove their headgear when indoors or when their weapons are sheathed (basically when not engaged in combat).

Conversely, if you choose to not wear headgear or any armor at all, removing any piece of armor should come with drawbacks as well as benefits. Such as the less armor you wear, the quicker you are in melee combat and running, and have more stamina---but the more damage you take.

I think that chest and legs should not be hidable, but all other items should. I was playing around with attempting to make an outfit that didn't have (very) noticeable shoulders, gloves, or shoes and for the life of me, I was unable to do much with it.

So yes please make the ability to hide other options possible. I'd be fine if all items were hidable, but believe that chest and legs shouldn't be.

Another option that I'm stealing from another game, if it's not programmatically practical to add hide options to other pieces, put in a crown store motif that is invisible pieces and then we can have those slotted to the pieces we want to hide.

Yes, this will make a gazillions of possible combinations.
any combo would be good. There are a number of chests that would work when legs are hidden as they are long enough.

It's not like the toons have nothing at all on. It there's enough concern about a swim suit look then ZOS ought to come up with a better default. Game publishers have total control over the base model look. Then they want to say but we don't want you to run around looking that way. Makes no sense and I want to say "Well stupid, you should design better basics then".

If I was developing them. I would go with a historical break short for all with a chest wrap on females. The bra look is a much more modern item and chest wrapping is old enough that we can not say when it exactly started. Of course I would also on April 1st have kick me signs on the rear of those breaks, Donkey ears of people with hide helm and such. But that's me. ;)

Plenty of naked people any way in the game and they have a event that encourages it.

I want the ability to hide any/all individual pieces of armor... while I love the 'Dark Shaman' outfit, I'd love to get rid of the shoulder armor. There are also other costumes/outfits that having a bare chest would look awesome, just imagine the combinations that players could come up with and the time they'd spend in-game actually doing so; I definitely think it would increase player activity and play-time.

Any thoughts on adding this option, @ZOS_GinaBruno , so that we can completely hide individual armor pieces? When I mean hide, I mean COMPLETELY HIDE, removing all armor, outfit, or costume piece down to bare skin.
