Battlegrounds full random grouping until it w possible to separate Premades and Random grouped queue

OP didnt ask to just didnt allow premades option to q but any size of the groups. 2-3 friends playing together is also something he sees as crime. Not anyone fault he is so bad nobody want to play with him or with you on that matter.

BGs was never billed as truly competitive organized small scale. There’s no MMR or valid leaderboards. That’s your bad for assuming it is.

Nope, i totally agree on separate queues. Mostly soloing myself anyway due to guildies not willing to play ESO at all with so many broken mechanics in place. And sure its not fun to meet 4 man team against in bg. But will never come to forum crying to remove option for organized teams to enjoy game.
Optimally, q should allow to check 2 boxes for solo players - solo only and grouped. If player choose both for faster pop its on him if he meet full premade. If he wish to wait longer, he check solo only and he plays only vs ppl who also entered solo.
As for groups no matter if its 2-3-4 they can q only for grouped combat and risking playing vs 4 man premade.
On top of that brackets for cp and non cp.2 -

UNTIL they could make options and leaderboard for moth modes.

JWillCHS✭✭✭Im very split on it. No lie...I have been playing BGs religiously since they release. I'm either in a BG, or getting gear to theorycraft for BGs.
Im in a highly competitive PvP guild. Many of them queue up together for two reasons:
1) They hope to encounter players who frequent BGs that have some level of skill.
These are the PUGs who play BGs religiously. You know them by name. They often perform well or are the only performing player on their team. They could be that random 4th person in your premade group of 3 and synergize well with the team.
And when you get 4 of them together, they're competitive. Even without voice they can play well against premades or just appear to be a premade themselves.
2) the chance of playing against other premades, especially known friendly groups and guildmates.
3) Its good to play with friends.
But in my opinion, ESO PvP is far from being competitive because of the game design and balance. My only reason why I might also support random queuing is because of my experience in Hero League with HotS. But the difference between Battlegrounds and Hero League is an MMR system. When you get into a match the game[tries to] pairs you with players with similar skill levels. Battlegrounds currently can't do that.
The only good[or bad thing if you like wrecking people] is the random group compositions which I really do enjoy more than playing with guildies most of the time. Too be honest..you get two really good premades in a melee...you'll be there all day.
You'll have 3 games of fun PUGing and 8 games of being slaughtered. Although fun is subjective.
I remember while playing UO the Korean players were so much more coordinated because they all were sitting in the same internet cafe. lol

StereoLiz✭✭✭I love pvping with friends (this is what holds me here), but I support this idea. First 2 weeks when BG dropped was the most fun and exciting, partly because group queue didn't work. Expirienced pvper will never be afraid of solo bg, so people who said "train, get gear, go to cyro" basically want to hide behind someone's back in bg.2 -

✭I love pvping with friends (this is what holds me here), but I support this idea. First 2 weeks when BG dropped was the most fun and exciting, partly because group queue didn't work. Expirienced pvper will never be afraid of solo bg, so people who said "train, get gear, go to cyro" basically want to hide behind someone's back in bg.
You're right. No experienced player will ever be afraid to go alone in a pvp scenario. Which is funny because I also wipe the floor 1v1 with most of these premade heroes i meet in BGs.2 -

Needless to say, I don't want premades queues removed completely, I just want them put in separately. There is NO reason th. should be together. Or can you find one? Farming pugs due to lack of personal skill doesn't count.
Nope, i totally agree on separate queues. Mostly soloing myself anyway due to guildies not willing to play ESO at all with so many broken mechanics in place. And sure its not fun to meet 4 man team against in bg. But will never come to forum crying to remove option for organized teams to enjoy game.
Optimally, q should allow to check 2 boxes for solo players - solo only and grouped. If player choose both for faster pop its on him if he meet full premade. If he wish to wait longer, he check solo only and he plays only vs ppl who also entered solo.
As for groups no matter if its 2-3-4 they can q only for grouped combat and risking playing vs 4 man premade.
On top of that brackets for cp and non cp.
What is the reason for premades to be allowed to queue against inexperienced pugs? Give me ONE valid reason.

✭✭✭✭I'm fine with limiting premades. However I strongly feel that you should also be able to queue as a duo. People like to play with friends, this is an MMO after all.
What if they aquired more than one friend over their life span? What if they are part of pvp guild for best pvp experience instead suffering with low skill mindless pugs?
I really dont get you ppl, unreasonable attempts to penalize ppl putting more effort than you.
At least 80% of my nearly full friends list are avid BG'ers. Guess what, I like playing against my friends too.
Honestly though I don't care, I was just chiming in to say say that if premades we're limited then duos should still be allowed. At least give me one friend to play with.0 -
Moglijuana✭✭✭✭✭ZOS shot themselves in the foot going the 4v4v4 route. There are not enough players per team to have a mandatory mix of pugs + premades on each team, especially when they only have one kind of que. What did they expect?
A proper BG format would have had two (three is literal garbage, especially since alliance doesn't even matter in BGs wtf is the point) teams with an even amount of pugs and grouped players on each side. What we have now on live is basically a feeding frenzy by two teams taking turns wiping one weaker team over and over. Having the team size limited to 4 drastically reduces the chance of acquiring players who have at least a remote idea of what to do in PvP.
I usually pug BG's because I like playing alone and it is faster than trying to find the occasional small scale fight in the horse simulator. There are three scenarios that usually happen whenever I zone in.
1. I'm in a game full of PUGS. <--- most fun, winning is not guaranteed. Yes I kill a lot of people, but it doesn't guarantee that I can carry my team for a win because with no pre-mades the scoring variables always change and some PUGS are just better than others.
2. I'm in a game where I am the "PUG" and the team I am on is stacked with Palatines and Legates who I see grouped together in Cyrodiil all the time. <--- least fun. Usually results in a win...I usually only have to mindlessly spam one button in doing so. Sometimes there is another pre made on an enemy team which gives some kind of competitive level to the match but it results in me ignoring the third team entirely because they are a waste of time in my eyes.*
*unless it is death match. That is when the kill trading on one team happens whether it is on purpose or not.
3. I get into another game where my entire team is PUGS but I look at the game roster and just say "would you look at that [snip]". <---THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST FREQUENT SCENARIO. The other two teams are entirely pre-made with troll tanks and toll healers galore (I play against a few of my guilds pre-made groups VERY frequently). <---These games I usually just try and play death match regardless of what the objective is because I understand that there is no possible way as solo player that I can do anything to remotely help my pugs besides trying to get rid of things that try to kill them. So while I am having fun, I can usually tell (or hear through party chat) how horrible the experience is for others.
Do I have fun in BGS? Sure. I'm also CP capped, fully geared on multiple PvP characters and even have some very niche builds that work extremely well in BG's. I play the game to strictly pass time now, especially more so now with how casual PvP has become. There is no point to leaderboards (besides a simple indicator that you should probably take a shower).
Does everyone have fun? Most definitely not. Especially when you see scores like 0-25-2 on some teams. They cant help it when two pre-mades camp their spawn. Remember ZoS enabled that in the first place with the abysmal design of BG's.
PLZ make better quality PvP. ESO has one of the best combat systems available for a MMO (when it works that is) but the game modes that are supposed to compliment those systems are horribly executed. It only takes some light reading on the forums to see most (if not all) complaints are the same and shared across PUGS and Veterans alike.

OP didnt ask to just didnt allow premades option to q but any size of the groups. 2-3 friends playing together is also something he sees as crime. Not anyone fault he is so bad nobody want to play with him or with you on that matter.
Myself i would prefer meeting only premades against every time, but sadly theres too many baddies like you and op who instead put some minimal effort into organized team play prefer whine and blame others, while demanding ZOS to screw over organized gameplay in a MMO game. You want play solo? Go play first Morrowind.
If people hadn't paid for the content you'd have a point. But everyone should have the ability to participate in content they paid for.

You are totally right. And i payed for small scale organized pvp matches. If ppl are too lazy to put an effort of organizing own team or close to no effort of joining existing one - thats on them and they have no right or justification to demand to penalize ppl who do put effort to perform better.
Edit: should we disband dungeon premades aswell? And trials? Lets promote lazy baddies who cant even use zone chat to organize team over ppl who put effort? Sorry, not a slacker mode supporter, never will be. Put effort, organize yourself, stop crying you get stomped when you deserve it.
BGs was never billed as truly competitive organized small scale. There’s no MMR or valid leaderboards. That’s your bad for assuming it is.
BGs was billed as quick to jump into fast paced small scale combat. There’s nothing quick about building a 4 man and sitting in longer queues.
Pre-mades haven’t even been bad on Xbox na lately but that doesn’t make your bad logic ok.

I never get stomped. Your entitled and aggressive mentality sounds like you’re projecting your solo experience of getting stomped onto me. That also probably explains why you’re so adamant about wanting to run a full 4 man pre-made despite that usually yielding the least fun gameplay4 -

People need to realize bgs follows the same system as dungeon finder. If u feel your group is lacking, make a premade. What you are basically saying is people who use group finder shouldn’t be able to make group outside que and be stuck with randoms who are utterly bad.0 -

I couldn't have said it better myself. The most enjoyable games I have when solo qing are when the match is filled with pugs (be them good or bad).
Whenever I go against a full premade I just try to deathmatch or poke the premade (like I would in cyro) hoping they'd send one after me. It's really not a fun matchup for me, and I can only imagine how the rest of the pugs feel.
Imagine a player is hyped for BGs, he just created a build he saw on YouTube, "best -insert patch- BG build!!!". He's super excited, gets into a game ready to try out the new game mode, comes against some magplar schmuck with a full premade spamming breath of life whenever someone screams in their voice chat.
The newbie gets stomped, and his impression on how battlegrounds are is made. I doubt he'd ever return, and then we all complain that nobody is playing. Premades being allowed to queue against pugs is only bad for BGs and this will never ever change.
