[Video] Puncturing Sweeps no longer healing a percentage of the damage done in Update 17

I went ahead and made a video showing that Puncturing Sweeps (magicka morph of Puncturing Strikes) is no longer healing. I first noticed this when I tried to fight some mobs in a dungeon.



@ZOS_GinaBruno This is a pretty bad bug. I mean really bad.

    Do you mean the healing it's supposed to do? It does show 18% of damage done in the vid, but that's due to using Equilibrium to reduce my health. On live, it heals 36% of the damage done, and that's what it's supposed to heal on the PTS.

    in the video, puncturing sweeps is worded differently then on live, on live the tooltip does not state the closest enemys damage taken, it just states this,
    Launch a relentless assault, striking enemies in front of you four times with your Aedric spear and dealing X Magic Damage with each strike. The closest enemy takes 140% additional damage each strike, and their Movement Speed is reduced by 70% for 2 seconds on the final hit.

    the new tooltip says
    Launch a relentless assault, striking enemies in front of you four times with your Aedric spear. the spear deals X magic damage to the closest enemy and X damage to all other enemies.

    The final strike reduces the movement speed of the closest enemy by 70% for 2 seconds.

    you heal for 35% of the damage done with this ability.



    so by the number that are dioplayed, you have 1563 as the base and 3723 as the closest enemy, that is less then 140%.

    1563*140% = 2188.2

    2188.2 + 1563 is 3751.

    something's not right.

    I'm gonna do a test tomorrow to compare the damage with identical builds and CP on the PTS vs Live. See if the damage has been buffed or no.

    Bumping this. This send to be the best jabs thread (due to video and math).

    Can we also not push for wimpy 30% heal? Remember we lost jabs healing because we had major mending so I think we need to increase this heal by 15% (total of 45-50%).

    Even the sound effects for it are bizarre on the PTS. How is it possible to continue to mess up a skill so badly?!

    The animation for jabs is laggy af too. It's just so messy rn.
