Wow I didn't know overtaunting and taunt shedding was a thing. I mean I've had a couple random dungeon runs that were a mess due to healers or DD ice staff heavies mucking up the tanks aggro but I always thought that was just a matter of taunt stealing.

So as far as Sellistrix goes, is there any way to avoid the taunt shedding? From what I read in the post it sounds like if you make sure your taunt is 3 seconds or less from expiring she won't get overtaunted? Or is she guaranteed to randomly lose aggro and you need to not spam taunt to get it back but rather wait until an invisible timer (no addon) is up?

Now I feel bad for blaming the healers deaths on the poor tank when it wasn't really their fault the boss is being so weird about aggro. I mean to be fair the guy was mostly on his 2hander bar so at least occasionally I think he was legit dropping aggro and there wasn't so much taunt shedding in that case. However I started to get suspicious when in another run I could see a tank spamming Pierce Armor and the boss just swiping away at the healer which led to this inquiry.
