Have you ever received a hate pm in PvP-Cyrodiil?

When I’m on my mageblade, I get compliments and love messages and people asking what class I am. lol Unless I mark a ganker...then they rage...

If I log onto my stamblade, magicka sorc, or warden, I get hate messages within 10 minutes. It’s wonderful.

I almost forgot about Iskra. I opened up the floodgates of whispers from him by picking up a scroll a few months ago and farming a few randoms with it. He got so angry that I didn’t run straight back that he claimed I was a DC alt that was going to drop the scroll at DC gates. I’ve never had a DC character above level 20.

Kotaro walks over to the Bosmer Postman, "Any mail for this one today??.." Kotaro says.. "Yes sir..I have two letters for you Mr Atani, they are from inside the Aldmeri Dominion.." says the Postman as he hands the two letters to Kotaro, then he grabs a huge Leather bag from the floor and puts it on the counter..

"What is that?" says Kotaro.. "Oh this..these are letters from outside of the Aldmeri Dominion, they are from the families of dead soldiers that you killed in Cyrodiil sir, ..." says the postman.. Kotaro opens the bag and pulls out a letter and opens one..

"To Kotaro Atani,

We just wanted to write you to let you know you are a scrub scum bag and we have put a price on your head within the Ebonheart Pact and our soldiers will hunt you down and kill you for the death of our son, you suck, you will feel pain..." it goes on for some time..Kotaro finally has read enough...Kotaro then crushes the letter and puts it back in the leather satchel, "Do others get hate mail such as this ??..." Kotaro says to the postman, "Well sir, if you weren't doing it right, as in killing people, then you wouldn't get this mail would you?" the postman replies.

"This one guesses you are right..just send them to the AD camp's as Kindling for the fires to keep the soldiers warm, this one thanks you.."

"No problem sir, have a good day.." replies the postman..

I got so much hate mail/messages in the past I changed it so only friends can message me on the PS4..

I'm a Nightblade, what are ya gonna do......I kill people, it's my job for the Queen of the Aldmeri Dominion.

Nothing personal, but if your a blue or red then your on the wrong side..

Every mageblade I know says this, and it matches my own experience too. Mageblades are somehow the most wholesome class -- we remove toxicity from the surrounding area. Unless we interfere with stamblades stamblading.

I only get hate mail when I kill someone while zerging. Or when in a large group. Or a small group. Or when running solo questing in cropsford.

I play a magsorc and 90% of the player base thinks that's basically cheating, so...

I once had an run-in with a DK on my sorc... first I get wiped out in one rush near a outpost, then I respawn at the same outpost, leave it to be on my way... just to find the very same DK being busy wiping the floor with the NPC guards, slinking up just so one or two aggro, then dealing with them... naturally I went "yay, revenge!" and jumped in, took him down, and went on my merry way to do daily quests... when I got an IM along the lines of "wanna try that again without the guards", and politely sent back "nope, I know very well you'll wipe the floor with me that way" - we both exchanged a few more IMs in an "laughing about it" tone, and that was that.

Sometimes, being honest about sucking at the PvPness instead of adding insult to respawn disarms the post-gank-hate.

I've killled zergs so yeah I got plenty of them when I went through pvp cyrodiil. I eventually decided to play with them and lead them on a wild goose chase. You would be surprised at how many times you kill someone that they want to lead another zerg to chase you down through half the map before finally telling them I was distracting them.

Someone who could barely spell called me a loser and told me to kill myself. Why? Because I had the audacity to die when her and 15 of her buddies zerged solo me.

Also some salty dude told me to go F myself because he was trying to quest in Cropsford and I killed him. He got really salty when I went afk on the flag and he started wailing on me, doing next to no damage, and I just wiped the floor with him, telling me I shouldn't kill PvE players. Ok dude...

On my stamina sorcerer I've got my mailbox full of hatemails.

They just cant handle the "get in, burst, get out" type of playstyle a stamina sorcerer should be played like.

Must be so hard for those people that they cant kill you, so they need to send hatemails

I used to get a few on my Templar when I first started PvP but not anymore ^^

My stamblade gets them quite often though. Normally get accusations of zerging when I'm in a group of 4 people.

I wish I got hate mail. I’m typically the primary causes of death to other players when me and my group go in. But instead the hate gets sent to my healers and the group leader. Never mind the fact that your kill review has my name all over it. I’m tired of my salt that rightfully belongs to me is given to those that didn’t even damage them. I’ll sneak inside an enemy keep and gank them for a good half an hour while they scour through the keep to find me. Do I get any hate mail? Nope at most it’s a bunch of tebagging I swear players have no respect for a cold blooded killer these days. It’s all about unkillable tanks and healers. Ugh I’ll just go gank half your zerg again I guess.

You know the tanking meta must be out of hand when they are stealing a nightblade's rightful salt.

I had this happen last night and I don't bag often.

I tbagged a well known (overconfident) player who was AFK out in the open and died to a zerg (I am in a 2 man group always with my boyfriend. We just follow zergs to find the best spot to sit between two keeps to kill players) and he immediately got triggered. I just told him that standing out in the open afk was a stupid noob move and he deserves a bag for being that stupid...especially at a keep that you know the other enemy is going to hit next. The very LEAST you could do is go stealth. He didn't. His immediate response was "aren't you ugly in real life?"

Couldn't even admit to himself he made a noob mistake. I've been bagged for making noob moves before and I just accept it. My boyfriend will even tell me it wasn't a smart move.

Yes and no. On any non-meta build, constantly. On any meta build, usually <crickets>.

My favorites:

I 1v1'd a "top player" a few times one night (mostly what people call a gank in this game) and when he finally killed me, he t-bagged me until I auto-released. I wanted to release earlier but I felt compelled to see how long he would keep going.

One guy, let's give him the fake name Maever Qolag, would send me long rascist, homophobic rants. Really vile stuff.

Another guy, a zerg healer, threatened to kill me irl, in imaginative ways I had never heard before. Very angry language. He felt I was singling him out for some reason. I was. He was a good healer. Stopping his heals was key to dropping anyone else. Decided not to tell him that after his opening comments, though.
