Apparently it is possible to place furniture on the rooftop however my character was stopped by an invisible wall from entering the roof.

Is it possible to build a ladder or stairs to access the roof?

You can build stairs up to it but still there is an invisible vertical wall around the rooftop that will hinder you from accessing it.

Yes, i find this very annoying as well. I mean, you can put entire Tress, a Craglorn coffin and much more on da roof, but build a platform and you hit a invisible Wall. Why?

Is there a forum or way to ask ZOS if plans to remedy this? If you can put furniture on Twin Arches roof, its a shame if your toon can't actually access it.

This would be a nice fix for 2018 and a reason more to buy this one ;)

If anyone's ever played fallout 4 I think the reason for this may be similar to the settlement building limitation. In other words the actual game cell for the house may just extend above the roof in order to minimise the overall impact to the game for whatever's built there. That's most likely the invisible wall people are hitting.

Yes, that might make sense, however, it is possible to place furniture items on the roof.

Probably something to do with the way the devs do their exterior cells. I think with regards outdoors areas for houses it would be nice if we had some sort of visual indicators while in build mode as to the usable space where things would still be intractable once placed.

Thing is, you can place things anywhere. Like 50metres into the air or in the ground so that it cant be seen anymore. That is also no good argument when you want to justify walking in the ground for example.

But I definitely agree on that this wall is kind of a joke and should be removed. The room in this house is very limited and a bit of verticality would make sense to me to make this up. The invisible wall that limits the height is fair imo though.
