Consoles have their place to shine, but an MMO-RPG is not one of them.

This pc has mod fixed to lots of the UI and QoL issues.
You can also overcome lots of the performance issues with $$$ as lots of it is local and stuff like i7 1080ti, memory and ssd helps.

PvP is probably more active on console and you don't have cheating level mods on the other hand performance issues is worse and might negate the benefit.

I considered the switch back when I had the chance to copy my characters from PC. But then I remembered I lack a console.

I know some console players are frustrated with not getting features PC players get through add-ons, but I have no idea what the perks are.

I disagree with how casual games are being made these days, MMOs can fit right with console. Back in the day when games like Wow and FFXI were the big guys and took your life away to do basic stuff they had no place but times have changed and more and more MMOs are coming to consoles.

Where do people come up with these things? PC is fine I just came back after a break and it's busier than ever. Chat is always busy and WB groups are always running.

Also there's no way to know which servers are busier. People will always speculate but come on... I have trouble believing an mmo is more populated on a console.

That is the most realistic part of the game.

I've been working with keyboards for 57 years and I simply cannot make my brain substitute.

Well I mean if it's a Nintendo Wii then yes, you're waving things around. But a handheld controller is just a simple relocation of the hands. Honestly many people prefer controllers due to the ergonomics, every button/paddle/trigger is within reach of your fingers without having to move your whole hand. However in ESO's case, you have to do a little bit of finagling whenever you want to Bar swap, since that is assigned to Left on the D-Pad.

It was a (silly) comparison meant to convey the difference between a keyboard sitting on a firm surface with my hands in positions they've been in for ages vs. a relatively small-ish device that is not on a firm surface which, in my n00b excitement, I tend to wave about like a lunatic.

The combination of the One X and official keyboard and mouse support might make Xbox the best platform for ESO. Though, I wouldn't be able to play without inventory and trader addons.
