Everybody is switching to console ( for eso )

Is it me or are new players storming in from pc due to population dying there. Im on xbox na and i have actually met and talked to over 20 people in the last month or less that have been saying many of their guild mates also switched to console because they were worried about population and all that.

Maybe zos one day should allow a account transfer again so we can get full cp players and they dont have to grind forever to get to 690.

Also if anybody does switch to console you should come to Xbox one community is great here sometimes zone chat will get toxic like any console game lol but you wont regret it if your looking for a strong base. Xbox na is poppin right now its in a very good place i would highly recommend it.

Is anybody planning on switching to console or is it just a few guilds doing it ? Also how is the population atm compared to console if you know

They cant do account transfers anymore supposedly. They could the one time from PC to console because the console server was new and they could just transfer now according to what Ive heard and read its impossible.

Anecdotal and likely not true—I migrated back from console, in my case (PC > PS4/ Pro > PC)

There are less issues on PC than on console and the prevalence of cheating and hackers is grossly overstated. Bot trains...I’ll give ya that one, PC wins in spades.

LOL well have fun - I couldn't play this game without add-ons and a PC interface (though the UI is in part so crappy IMO because it was made for consoles) .

Consoles have their place to shine, but an MMO-RPG is not one of them.

Ran into a lot too. Some say they hate add ons. Some say they have buddies, some say they use all of em.

Yeah I was going to say (and still will I suppose) that the casual guild I am in has picked up new members that have switched from console to PC.

I can't say for certain whether the population on the PC is growing shrinking or running on an even keel but I do know it is rare to enter a delve and not find at least one other player inside. Also last time I went in to do some PvP my queue started at 83. Found two potent nirn while waiting to enter.

Only Xbox went a month without PVP. PS4 got fixed in 3 weeks. If you're switching, go Xbox one X unless you're already invested in PSN. Just my opinion, so you can probably disregard.

My consoles are only for driving and fighting games. I have no intention of playing ESO, or any other MMO, on console. Not now or in the foreseeable future.

I semi recently switched from Xbox to PC and PC is definitely not dying lol, they both have very strong populations. PC is much better though, less lag, better community, but that's because guilds are easier to run due to addons and traders making things easier. and easier to find good guild because of "PC"

but if anything I see more new people on PC than i did on Xbox

I'm not going to switch to console, but account transfer should be possible in my opinion PC is my city.

I thought console was the one that's dying? Unplayable trials. Unplayable PvP. At least in the endgame PvE raiding community, it seems like there's an exodus from console to PC. There are so many "console refugees" coming in.

Still lots of people playing on pc/na, if dolmen grinding and the new life festival are anything to go by. Why would people want to swap over to console, only to start the game from scratch again?

On pc, eso has much more competition that have more content, better infrastructure, etc but on console there is virtually no competition at all.

Yes mate it did, even with the "fix" its still terrible. Think q1 update should be "fix the servers" rather than dragon something, bit thata just a personal opinion. Somepeople prefer solo play.

Personally I switched the other way around and never look back. Endgame just sucked on console due to extremely bad performance.
I love my controller though and will never change for mouse and keyboard. Except for the faster and more precise aiming it's awfully clunky imo. And lets be honest who needs super precise aiming in this game? There are no heads to shoot.

Well I mean if it's a Nintendo Wii then yes, you're waving things around. But a handheld controller is just a simple relocation of the hands. Honestly many people prefer controllers due to the ergonomics, every button/paddle/trigger is within reach of your fingers without having to move your whole hand. However in ESO's case, you have to do a little bit of finagling whenever you want to Bar swap, since that is assigned to Left on the D-Pad.
