Random odd questions to Zos ?

Can a person/player peacefully protest (real world events) without violating any Z.O.S TOS ?

You mentioned ZOS TOS, but since I know your a PS4 NA player, you also have to consider PlayStation / PlayStation Networks ToS/Code of Conduct if you try to bring your protesting onto the PSN via their services.

Just pointing that out, I can't answer your question truthfully.

You asked why people don't want to see real life issues brought up in the game and I told you why they don't. It's not intended for you to read anything into other than that. My answers are direct responses to that question.

Real ideologists stand up and fight for their cause and their beliefs, some even become martyrs, yet this ideologist (the op) is not wanting to break ZOS ToS.. Gimme a break, quit using educated words in your replies, keep your beliefs and ideals out of this fantasy world of Tamriel there is enough idealogy rammed down peoples throats in the real world, gaming is escapism and enjoyment and does not really need this kind of bull.

If you really want to do something constructive about your cause then do it in a real life scenario and go protest/campaign for awareness on the streets of your capital city and at the doors of your parliament, but ffs sake keep it out of the realms of fantasy where it has no place.

@Takes-No-Prisoner I have already looked into that aswell. And there are a particular set of rules in place that protects any establishment from making such a rule on the playstation U.S TOS agreement.

With that said, i thank you for being sincere.

    @supaskrub

I appreciate your input towards this matter.

Im a bit concerned with your radically charged statement. As the educated language that i am expressing is causing you to grieve upon this topic. I do apologize if you feel that way, please let me help you understand.

Now your assuming that this topic, about my beliefs ? No that would be saying that others and i would be assuming to be true. Instead others and i would like to bring awarness about factual things.

Escapism is not what you think, and using it in that context maybe mentality harmful to you and others in any game. Im not a doctor but id be careful of how your influence others with that word.

It seems like your very distressed about this. I hope all is well in your real life and your toons in eso.

So here is the deal you say you want to discuss a real life issue in game because you want to educate the masses on the subject but do not let any one know the subject The word subject is what your eluding to us so we can not say if it is something we want to see in chat. It could create a conflict of interest among the people viewing the chat that could be taken as bad or good but until you explain what the subject is again it eludes us on if we see it as a bad thing or a good thing.

@Nolic1 Hello good day to you.

Just to be clear i am not eluding to the ( grape jelly) i will not say what it is. And my question was if can peacefully protest ingame without breaking ZOS TOS. Now i gave reasonable views within means of all context, that others and i feel it wouldn't be breaking the TOS in the game nor on ps4.

Good or bad is a matter of reasonable perspectives per individuals morals and values and culture/upbringing. So the subject should not matter as long as i follow the TOS within reason.

The constructive polite input I and others would like to see. Is the communities thoughts, about peaceful protests as long as i follow ZOS TOS ingame. And if you or any person feels is threatened i do apologize, but my post is sound.

Hmmm. Since OP is intentionally keeping the topic vague (well played, btw), I guess this means I'll have to keep an eye on zone chat in the coming days in the "usual supect" areas (Stonefalls, The Rift, Wayrest, etc.)

Better hurry before the festival ends and you lose most of your audience ;)

Freedom of speech protects you from going to jail. Not your right to be in a gaming community. Unless you’re a government employee who shares classified information, nothing you say in game is going to cost you your freedom. So the freedom of speach arguement is off the table.

Sharing unsolicitated political “wisdom” is a good way to preach to the choir and get blocked by everyone else. Because to everyone else you're in the same boat as the guy on the corner wearing a sandwich board telling us that the end is near, or the homeless hippy talking about “the government, maaaaaaaaaaaaan”.

There are plenty Avenues that are more appropriate (and equality futile) to spread your political awareness. So why not take it there?

We can all see what you're trying to do, my friend.. You got your answer. I'd suggest you stop using the thread as an excuse to condescend to and passive-aggressively belittle those who answer you.

Your behavior is insulting, especially when you cannot seem to form complete sentences or thoughts. And I'm sorry, I don't like putting things like that, but it's a glaring fault that screams to everyone watching that you focus on everyone else's flaws before you focus on your own.

Disclaimer: This is not meant to be inflammatory or jarring. This is a simple, unbiased, and emotionless observation.

@Judas Helviaryn Hello to you

It is very concerning that you have self entitled yourself, as one person to speak for every registered user ? You do understand that in order to make a valid argument, you have to read the full context ?

In this case you have not, if you maybe please go back a few pages. You would see where i have have made a similar valid argument to this peticular subject. And you would also hopefully understand where i am not belittling nor be condescending to any person who makes an unvalid or valid statment/argument.

I appreciate your simple unbiased and emotionless observation of my ability to form a complete sentence. We ( speaking for every person in the world, is factually not a perfect person within reason. ) but i think i will leave it there.

Here is my big concern right now, this thread is not making any progress at all. And i have to ask myself why ? Is it me as a person, or is it my question or cause that others and i would like to do ?

Others and i would like to see progress on this topic. About peaceful protests in the game, no matter the subject of it.

I thank each and everyone of you, for any and all input you have made on this matter.

You're not making any progress in this thread because you're not giving people the information to make an informed response. How would you conduct this "peaceful protest" ingame? What is the cause? Why do you want to do this in a game instead of out in the real world somewhere? So many questions that you haven't answered.

On another note......You have responded to almost everything people have said to you except for a couple of posts. These posts eluded to you doing this for a class. Your silence makes me think we might be right.

    Such as:

1, False information that is distributed

2, The trend of not understanding how it affects them today or in the future.

    3, Bringing awarness about it.

Why not eso, we all play regularly and all of us are sometimes baffled by the intelligence of other people. I enjoy to theorycraft and hangout in v-chat with my guildys and probably single handley responsible for the meta today unfortunately.

With over 340 days played, and the first and only ps4/na Stam Sorc (No Race change) Grand Overlord I feel i have a position in this game.

First Grand Overlord? IIRC I believe Baconator1997's MagSorc has claim to that. But GO really has no leverage as far as political positions go. Maybe if you were a noticeable Guild Leader? But I hardly ever see your yellow in Vivec anyway...

Going off on a bit of an assumption here, but--if you're disgruntled about zerglings or PvP players not knowing how 2 play, there is really not much you can do about that. If this is the case, I see where you're coming from here. However let us be frank, PS4 players don't have access to the types of tools the PC players have. They cannot nearly do as much research as they can, opening up a browser and looking up the information they need on mechanics.

    So to sum up: politics.

(If it was just "media literacy" or awareness of things like the Macedonian news farms then you might have been able to pitch this as politically neutral, but "false information that is distributed" etc means wading into territory that's used by politicians to campaign on and to slam their opponents. Keep politics out of ESO, please.)

    @Merlin13KAGL And to all....

Well based on the written TOS ingame information i can do this peaceful protest with my guild. What is it you say - well it is knowledge, within reason.

"My country is the world, and my religion is to do good."

    " Thomas Paine "

    I leave with this:

Social values of our society which has manifested into warfare, corruption, oppressive regulations, social stratification, irrelevant superstitions, environmental destruction and a despotic socially indifferent prophet orientated ruling class.

Also is fundamentally a result of a collective ignorance of two of the most basic insights we can have of basic reality. The emergant of symbiotic aspects of natural order. The emergent nature of reality is that all systems rather it is knowledge, society, technology philosophy or any other creation will when uninhibited undergo fluid and perpetual change

What we consider as common place today, such as the internet our transportation systems would have been unimaginable in ancient times. Likewise the future will contain technologies realizations and social structures that we cannot even fathom right now.

We have gone from alchemy to chemistry, from a geocentric universe to a heliocentric universe, from believing that demons were the cause of illness to the establishment of our modern medicine.

This development shows no sign of ending. And it is this awareness that aligns us and leads us to growth and progress. Static empirical knowledge does not exist rather it is the insight of the emergence of all systems we must recognize.

This means we must be open to new information at all times. Even If it threatens our current belief system and our identities. Sadly society today has failed to recognize this, and the organizations continue to paralyze growth by preserving outdated social structures. Simultaneously the population suffers from a fear of change for there conditioning assumes a static identity.

Challenging anybodys belief system, usually results in insults and apprehension. For being wrong is associated with failure.

When in fact to be proven wrong should be celebrated, and it is elevating somebody to a new level of understanding and furthering their awareness.

The fact is that there is no such thing as a smart person Its actually a matter of time before anybodys ideas are updated changed or eradicated and considered irrelevant. And this tendency to blindly hold on to a belief system. Sheltering this is nothing less than a form of intellectual materialism.

My cause is knowledge from anybody that would like to learn something from somebody that is factual reasonable. And also has different ideas thus challenging your own to look at it in a different light.

Have a great and wonderful day to all.
