I had a great time during the dungeon event.

It was fun. I met a lot of fantastic people and had a great time. Most of the time we all just had fun doing the dungeons. Only a couple of instances did things go badly but those are easily ignored. It happens, just let those things roll off your back. For the most part it was really fun. Thanks ZOS, please do something like this again soon.

I wouldn't call 3 hours queuing with a premade group fun, on 2 occasions. 5 random normals that should normally take less than 1 hour in total took over my whole evening multiple times, only to receive 1 transmutation crystal and some trash pots

But it's good that you had fun personally. I wouldn't encourage ZOS to do more events like this in the future, though. It didn't feel inclusive at all, since you could run 30+ dungeons and not get a single costume, whereas someone else can run 4 and get everything you wanted.

RNG is lazy and should never be encouraged in a video game in 2017.

A solution would be either to have the rewards be repeatable an infinite amount of times so that if a player really wants an item he can grind for it all day and night and at least have a pretty damn high chance of getting what he wanted.

Or even better, have them drop as runeboxes so they could be purchased in game with gold.

I think the longest queue I had was 10 minutes or so as a DPS.

The event got me to tank and heal for the first time too, so that was fun.

Plus I got some free stuff, so that is pretty cool.

That was not my experience. I'm sorry yours took so long. I would que up and then do something else and it usually didn't take that long. constantly getting the "Someone has declined..." notice was a bit annoying. In most dungeons we practically ran as fast as we could through them. My poor healer could barely keep up.

    I didn't get anything, I don't care. I just had fun.

Nope, they were everywhere. They mainly cropped up in prime-time peak hours.

I spent about half the time during the event requeuing and requeuing because of the "someone has declined your invitation" bug.

I had a good experience when I ran with guildies. When I ran PUG groups, I encountered dual-wield tanks and people rushing through the dungeon and calling anyone who wasn't keeping up a variety of nasty names.

The reward drop rates weren't at all good, but it's ZOS, so honestly they were actually better than I expected.

I had near instant queue pops on my DPS characters, even without fake tanking. So it was fast.

I also had a great time, a lot of random normal running with guildies.

I had a wonderful time too and must say it was one of the high points of my time in ESO. I really made an effort to get to know folks in my guild, did a ton of dungeons and had such a great time. My friends list grew during this event. We all hope to continue our dungeon running together. For the PUGs I joined---really nice patient people---willing to wait for people to finish quests, no one got cranky if there was a wipe, etc. I ran into more than a handful who were doing these dungeons for the very first time. Kudos for such an enjoyable event.

My only negative feedback was the underwhelming variety of loot from the reward boxes. I really wished that it spanned all the loot tables of the game. Alas we all seemed to get the same things--costumes, dyes, etc. I wish that it had been mixed up a bit more for a bit more box opening excitement. Otherwise, I hope to see more events like this one.

I had a wonderful time too and imo must say it was one of the better events...

I learnt a lot about randoms....

I learnt a lot about my guilies...

I learnt how to run a baby healer - I enjoyed it so much she is staying on for the duration...

Edit: as for the rewards..... well free is free - I didn't really care as I had fun

P.S. Got 2 costumes and the horse.

Same, it's been a great event, the cool down element was awful though.

It would have been better if let's say "7 days event" you had a 7 boxes reward per character during those days, simple as that, so the time to run would have been our choice.

We could have run even with the same character all day until the box number 7, then another character.

The cool down made things very annoying, the reward being available in hours I was working or not being available yet when I had free time.

A max number of boxes per character during those days (no cool down) would have been so much better.

It took me about three hours every day to run all eight of my characters through normal dungeons, with 6/8 characters being either healers or tanks.

Overall I had fun, but I'm also glad its over. I like running normal dungeons. I'm just glad that now I don't feel like I have to run them on every character every day or I'm missing out.

(Sorry, all my alts, its time for you to sit idle again.)

i ve got 10 dps toons - played for a long time, etc- but for the first times i tanked and healed during this event- which was fun. well slotted ransack and healing springs if that counts as tanking and healing.

but yeah as with the rest- not gtting to have the 3 costumes that have eluded me for 2 years- that ive been happy and willing to pay for with real money- really sucked.

You slotted both a taunt and a healing skill. You healed. You slotted a taunt. Hallelujah! Thank you!
That means you were better than half the tanks my healers grouped with. A DPS with a taunt makes for a very effective tank in most normal dungeons and you really helped out your group members by holding the boss' aggro.

    Well done!

    Indeed it was fun,

At heart just a change of prizes for undaunted randoms made it fun. I enjoyed leveled my dk healer while also realizing how hard nightblade healing is. They are almost half way to 50. Also have 6 xp scrolls now to use for next event . Overall it was nice seeing the community lively again so please keep it up!

I had a good time. I was actually planning to work on undaunted anyway, and the profit was good even without the special prizes. I've not been into doing very many dungeons for a long time up until recently and the timing for me was perfect. I can only think of maybe one run that was kind of bad and even at that we were successful. I stumbled into accidental veteran cradle of shadows and we managed to knock it out as well as lots of accidental ICP/WGT too. It was a good run.

    I thought it was great.

As a returning player I got to experience the new dungeons without inconveniencing ppl. I’m pretty competent so I knew there be worse/less experienced ppl. Ran some with guild pre-mades and just pugged it.

Got some insane pug for BRF... felt like we were clearing an overland group delve.

Now I’m happy to queue for any pledge, without feeling I'm holding ppl back...

The only time I never enjoyed being part of a group was in that new bloodroot forge dungeon. First time i had been in and everyone sprinted and dashed. That's fine in theory, but i had nowhere near their stamina so a few times I was straggling and swarmed by enemies a few times and ultimately died as many times because the rest were nowhere to be seen.

I stuck with it just because, but it was not an enjoyable experience. The flip side of the coin, I lucked out and got a vet clear on vRoM. Three very good players that carried my ass as that was another dungeon I had never done. Didn't come close to dying at any point.
