I got a second eso account just to store maps and other consumables I hoard (like those stupid dazzler things).

One day the gear cap will rise and when that happens I hope these maps will lead to treasure that will actually be valuable to me or others.

I collect all of the ones I get on my main, in my bank, and in my mail. And then I spend a few hours at some point during the week looting them all while watching Netflix. Sometimes I will loot them while queuing for Vivec on my PVP characters. Depending on the drops and zones of the maps, you can make some good money selling the set pieces that you pick up in guild traders and vendoring the trash.

People saying they destroyed them hurts. Especially the maps for zones with valuable gear like Rivenspire.

I'll take all unwanted treasure maps. XBOX NA.

What I normally do when I am farming gear for a character is buy all of the maps for the zone in all of the traders under 500 gold. Usually end up with like 10K spent on treasure maps. Go to the treasure map location, dig it up, run out of sight, pull the same map out of your mail, and repeat. And then run from one treasure map location to the other, looting overworld chests and resource nodes along the way. Instead of just doing the maps, you are farming for everything. Hit the dolmens and world bosses along the way as well. Farmed Necro for a character like this. Spent 10K or so on maps and probably made 70K-100K in gear sold at guild traders and tons of materials added to by craft bag. Took a few hours at most. Plus, I was able to gear up my toon without having to farm for days or spend a lot in the trader.

Also, numbered treasure maps are guaranteed to drop a set piece. It's a guarantee. It may not be the piece you need or want but it will drop every time. Except for the CE maps. Those do not drop set pieces.

Tmaps are a tad boring to me..but I'll save them until I get around to it.

I much rather have very difficult traps with greater rewards.

Used them as toilet paper, except the Vvanderfell map.
