Did you use treasure maps from event?

I don't know why people throw them away. 2 or 3 times a month, I gather up the treasure maps and surveys that I have, and collect what they have. Doesn't take to long with the add-on, and generally get around 50K gold.

I've stored them in my bank for one of my alts. Trying to get Master Angler on it so I'll take them out when I go to a new zone to fish, break up the fishing a bit with treasure hunting.

Exactly what I do, except the only addon I use to do so is Custom Map Pins: it doesn't work if I have not found the spot before! By my self!

Destroyed some of them to reclaim some inventory space. Hung on to some others until I can get around to using them. No maps in particular, just what I didn't happen to destroy earlier.

There is no "Destroyed" option.
such type of reward from an event that say it should be exclusive items only from crownstore are literally insults...giving them away to other people it would mean insulting them as well.

In the time it takes to pull up the location of the treasure maps on google, load into the zone they're in, navigate to the general area, find the spot, dig it up, and then leave the zone, you could just do one stealing lap around Riften or any other good theft location and make 5x the amount of gold, and work your way towards that 1 million fenced gold achievement and dye.

I destroy every treasure map I get, without hesitation.
