If the new currency is like transmute crystals, I don't see the big deal. They're pretty easy to acquire all things considered.
From that I get with style templates this sounds more like of an sort of costume creator or costume slots than changing style of armor.
If you change style of an armor with standard transmogrification this will be like trait change, either you select style like crafting or like WOW you use some other gear as base. Its no need to save styles.
Benefit is that you can change looks like costumes, downside is that the system sounds a bit clunky.

From the Russian translation, this sounds like it could be something else... like some kind of overlay plastered on top of your armor, without actually modifying anything. I don't want Costumes 2.0!
I hope they will do spellcrafting sooner or later on. I don't care about those motif changes, but spellcrafting would be really good thing to have.

I see the big deal... because transmute crystals are locked behind content that Solo Questers like myself do not play! They alienated a huge amount of their player base with the transmute cystals... but thankfully we don't need the type of weaponry found in dungeons. However, transmogrification is completely different and DOES impact the entire ESO population. Therefore, locking them behind forced dungeons is NOT the way to go.

Well... I jumped into PvP for a few days and got a total of 157 total transmute crystals. I don't necessarily like PvP but I had fun and gained a decent amount of AP and crystals. Maybe make it so that quests give some crystals or transmog stones? Like getting in game questing achievements for clearing all the zones delves, pub dungeons, and quests?
Edit: For spelling

Concerns were that adding various colored weapons would cause system lag and was only for cosmetic purposes. But we now have how many non-combat pets or Character modifications that are strictly cosmetic?
They could give us a limited color palette to choose from that are a range of acceptable color choices to them. Just like the costume editor, add a change window icon so they are on their own page.

As it is shown, these lines unambiguously suggest that in the nearest future the game will have a system to change style of your armor (transmogrification). Possible, that in the nearest future there will be an official announcement if this new feature, but in the mean time, developers decided to warmup community with this small "leak".
So, what predictions can we get from these new lines?
Using know to you styles, it will be possible to create templates of armor styles (and give them names).
Initially, it will be possible to store limited amount of style templates.
It will be possible, to buy new cells for style templates.
New currency will appear - style rocks, - which, most likely, will be somehow connected to the new system of changing styles.
Furthermore, together with ability to change styles, a new system will be implemented to help beginners according to their chosen roles (DPS, healer or tank). From its name (Skills advisor) we can assume, that the game will advise players which abilities most fit their chosen role.
Most likely, official announcement of new abilities (and another DLC) will happen in the nearest future, stay tuned!
P.S. ez ggnore
Sigh.
LOL the Imperial and Morag Tong converters are the most useless thing ever, and an obvious insult on top of it like an +50% damage to enemy players in all craglorn trialsLordSarevok wrote: »I am very excited about this! I have been harping on this issue for waaaaaay to long. Like having Imperial and Morag Tong converters that don't work on 90% of the gear. Much hype!!!
