    Er, no.

From that I get with style templates this sounds more like of an sort of costume creator or costume slots than changing style of armor.

If you change style of an armor with standard transmogrification this will be like trait change, either you select style like crafting or like WOW you use some other gear as base. Its no need to save styles.

Benefit is that you can change looks like costumes, downside is that the system sounds a bit clunky.

This. The last thing we need is yet another currency, there at far too many as it is. And yes, in principle transmogrification is super simple.

Dont worry. Since costumes will be far less bought now, expect to pay more monies for this system. Gotta fund that Fallout Online!

You can transmute things in a guild hall, or at someone’s house, even. You only need the Xpac to access the one in CWC.

There doesn't seem to be many with a transmute station at their house (which is understandable considering the cost). I don't know one. Sure, i could spam chat to eventually find one who allows me to use his station everytime i want to transmute something, but I'd rather not bother at all.
Maybe i'll buy one if i manage to accumulate enough gold, but it is still a lot of hassle for those who don't want to buy the DLC or aren't lucky enough to have someone with a station among their guilds or friends.

If a feature is supposed to be part of the base game, it should be equally accessible for all imo. If it isn't, i consider it partially locked behind paywall (either ingame or real money).

I'm not sure how I feel about this. All I want to do is to be able to intrinsically CHANGE the appearance of each piece of armor from one motif to another. From the Russian translation, this sounds like it could be something else... like some kind of overlay plastered on top of your armor, without actually modifying anything. I don't want Costumes 2.0!

I think that's all any of us ever wanted. We want to be able to change the appearance of an item so we have stuff in the motifs we like. That's it. Simple, clean, easy.

Uuuuuugh this looks so promising but also so worrying!!! D: Like are they going to be permanent unlocks similar to how dyes work? It seems to be indicating that, and that is exactly what I want, but it's not 100% clear?? And it looks like style stones might be needed to "unlock" a style? Are those the normal racial style stones like Argentum and Moonstone, or are they a new resource? Or if new, can you use both? How much to unlock the thing? Is it account-wide or per-character? Do you think Undaunted stuff will be included? Costume pieces? Will it work for weapons and shields? GODS I AM SO ON EDGE.

Like I probably shouldn't worry so much since they did so well with the Transmutation system implementation, but this is so very important to me and if it ends up missing the mark I'd be so disappointed. fret fret fret fret fret

Place your bets on how it'll be disappointing o:)

(personally, a motif system won't help me much. I want my character who's currently wearing the Encasement of Anguish rare drop armor, to be able to keep that look while getting some more useful stats.)

They already have Spellcasting designed and coded and had it ready since 2014. It is really awesome, imo, from what they showed us.
Somewhere it was said that it is still on back burner, but hope it comes someday.
But my luck it will be linked to crown store and crown crates... Lmao! :)

If the new currency is like transmute crystals, I don't see the big deal. They're pretty easy to acquire all things considered.

I see the big deal... because transmute crystals are locked behind content that Solo Questers like myself do not play! They alienated a huge amount of their player base with the transmute cystals... but thankfully we don't need the type of weaponry found in dungeons. However, transmogrification is completely different and DOES impact the entire ESO population. Therefore, locking them behind forced dungeons is NOT the way to go.

Well... I jumped into PvP for a few days and got a total of 157 total transmute crystals. I don't necessarily like PvP but I had fun and gained a decent amount of AP and crystals. Maybe make it so that quests give some crystals or transmog stones? Like getting in game questing achievements for clearing all the zones delves, pub dungeons, and quests?

    Edit: For spelling

I'm all for ^THIS! Give Transmog stones as additional rewards for quest, delve, dungeon completions instead of just locking them behind group dungeon or PvP content.

If you are a solo quester then transmutation is not for you. We had this discussion on the PTS forums. Many times.

I meant in the sense that the crystals drop relatively generously. I highly doubt they'd make you run dungeons for transmog crystals, and if they did, then you'd have every right to be upset.

Please let us re-color our weapons, too.

I can’t find the quote, but I’m pretty sure that the developers said we couldn’t do that for some reason. We should, however, be able to just craft a weapon of a different ore/wood (and thus colour) and transmogrify with that.

Concerns were that adding various colored weapons would cause system lag and was only for cosmetic purposes. But we now have how many non-combat pets or Character modifications that are strictly cosmetic?

They could give us a limited color palette to choose from that are a range of acceptable color choices to them. Just like the costume editor, add a change window icon so they are on their own page.

    English translation:

As it is shown, these lines unambiguously suggest that in the nearest future the game will have a system to change style of your armor (transmogrification). Possible, that in the nearest future there will be an official announcement if this new feature, but in the mean time, developers decided to warmup community with this small "leak".

So, what predictions can we get from these new lines?

Using know to you styles, it will be possible to create templates of armor styles (and give them names).
Initially, it will be possible to store limited amount of style templates.
It will be possible, to buy new cells for style templates.
New currency will appear - style rocks, - which, most likely, will be somehow connected to the new system of changing styles.

Furthermore, together with ability to change styles, a new system will be implemented to help beginners according to their chosen roles (DPS, healer or tank). From its name (Skills advisor) we can assume, that the game will advise players which abilities most fit their chosen role.

Most likely, official announcement of new abilities (and another DLC) will happen in the nearest future, stay tuned!

    P.S. ez ggnore

    Sigh.

No not sigh.. you would be a fool to think an economy wouldnt be attached to this. Everyone knew a currency would have to be implemented for this feature or else you would have everyone make one off trans sets and never touch the system again.

LOL the Imperial and Morag Tong converters are the most useless thing ever, and an obvious insult on top of it like an +50% damage to enemy players in all craglorn trials :)
Players either run dropped or crafted sets. None outside of noobs run none set gear.
Even if you can not craft or don't know the style its 10K extra.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
