I dont understand the amount of non staff users out there for magplar lol. I always have to put on a resto staff backbar or a lightning staff frontbar. The sustain not having a staff sucks balls to me, and i dont run lich.

To each his own, i dont like running dry on magic, its nice for me to be able to heavy attack resto once or twice and keep going.

Whenever I use a staff, I wonder how it was I got by with duel wield, not being able to weave in (strong)attacks and heavy attack for resources.

Whenever I use duel wield, I wonder how I got by with lower damage and losing an extra armor piece bonus (and a potential 5 piece set).

That's why I'm using 2hand. It has a few extra utility options and a stamina recovery global passive. Not to mention, the ultimate is very strong in BGs for magplars.

Yes I lose ability to weave, but with our main spamable channel it's arguably not required. But 5% extra DMG done will help boost burning light, which helps boost dps to compensate for the weave loss. Neither staffs will boost burning light.

Do you run heavy or light? I always felt the penetration i had in light armor, cp, and even alternate players debuffing was wasted using that ultimate. Plus the loss of weaves since you're sacking a 2nd 5pc was too Mich for me to go 2h. Either way of love to see it in action.

Never considered the 30% Stam recovery from kills. I could take advantage of that....

Light. Heavy magplar you lose sustain and other passives that are needed more. I'm sure there's plenty of builds that handle this downside, but I like LA magplar better.

Even though the ultimate ignores resists, magplars don't have resist ignoring bleeds like stamplars have. Combined with unblocked+undodgeable Unstable core, the two abilities add more soaked DMG to your purfying light burst. It's single target use is the only drawback. You shouldn't use it in cyro, it's dodged heavily and you'll find yourself in situations where you needed the stun+dot from Dawnbreaker more, not to mention the cheap 100 ultimate cost. Also, Berserker rage grants you 8 seconds of snare immunity; underrated utility, especially if you walk in with forward momentum and run out with berserker rage.

I use it with transmutation. front bar set with trans on back to proc. Works very well with lich/wizard reposte too.

That stamina recovery, btw, says it procs if you have two hander equipped. So get those cheap killing blows in BGs for maximum results lol.

    Edit:
Last patch I used it in nCP BGs, wrecked some nbs with it lol. https://youtu.be/UU6k1tDIQ8g

Nope not cc immunity. It's snare and immobilze immunity. Its basically forward momentum but tied behind an ultimate.
