I play both Male and Female in all games but My Female chars outnumnber the Males. One of the main problems have been that males often look bad in robes in eso. Or maybe i just Havent come to the revelation that i'm transgender. But i dont think Thats the case.

Both, although I have a lot more female than male characters in this game. I think they generally look more attractive than the males. I’m partial to tall, slender men (I’m a woman), but the male character forms in ESO tend to be too bulky for my tastes. The two I’m currently leveling are both male, though.

It really doesn’t matter to me what gender people choose for their toons. I’ve played a lot of MMOs, and I’m used to guys with female characters coming into Vent or TS or Discord with male voices and/or girls rocking male toons.

Male, because I am male and I see and play as if the character is an extention of me.
I know people say "what would you rather, look at a dudes ass all day or a girl, you gay". That's not why I play to look at ass, I play to be immersed, I feel more immersed when the character is an extention of me.

Female. I'm a girl, and I usually like to be in the role of my characters. I have like 4 general female characters, and 1 general male character, and unless it's for achievements, he's usually the 3rd or 4th priority (so in most games, I don't really ever get around to creating/playing him).

So, technically, I play both, but in practice, playing a male is very rare. (And I've kinda been spoiled by Create-A-Character games, and it takes me a lot to want to play a game with a pre-designed player character, let alone a male one.)

Being Male. Only one game, I've had to play a female in was Warhammer Online because of the faction. The Witch Elf, great stealth class but anyone who played that would know that armor was extreme (visually)

I’m male but all my charecters are female or end up female, also they are mostly nord as they remind me of my wife

Listen to deltia on the subject and it’s realy strange, he seems to get quite hysterical, it’s as if playing a diffrent gender is some sort of World shaking sin, lmao

seems a wierd way to look at it, after all who plays an mmo looking for a date!

I think the dichotomy is because he sees the charecter as him, it is litteraly an avatar of himself in the game world. For me that has NEVER been the case in ANY game, to me the charecter is just that, an element in the story with me and the game studio as the combined storytellers. Anyone who gets enraged at this simple truth needs to reevaluate their look at the world, all that stress can’t be good for them
