Introduced in CWC?
Load screens have been an issue since launch.
These arent just regular load screens now and again that everyone suffers. These have made console unplayable since cwc
ESO plus gives you access to dlc zones, a crafting bag, crowns, and some bonuses like gold gained, research times reduced, etc.
Unfortunately cyrodiil is part of the base game. And if all of the above worked well for you then there's no reason for a month of free eso plus.
The only compensation I'd like is a campaign reset, and something like a double ap event for those of us who were unable to play through this bug.
The thing is, the base game does not work well atm for everyone. I have been having exceedingly long load screens as of late, and have had to shut my game down and restart several times in pve zones as well.
I'm on PC, and just got LSOD (loading screen of death) in a middle of a freaking siege. The truth is that this bug is there on PC for years.
No it hasnt. I play on pc and console and its nothing compared to console. EVERY time you move to a wayshrine in the same zone you have to restart your entire console. EVERY time you die in cyrodiil and try to respawn at a keep you have to restart your entire console. PC have long load screens etc just like console does, but this is a new bug released in the CWC patch.

Strange, because I've been playing over 12-hours a day the last two days, including wayshrining between dolemens for hours in Auridon, and never once did I have a long load screen. I've also jumped to guild members and never had a long load screen. Considering this is a holiday weekend where I'd guess more people in the U.S. are off, the lack of problems is actually surprising.
Also, for those who talk about BDO receiving 'compensation', keep in mind that 1) their WHOLE GAME was affected, not just a single zone, and 2) BDO is not currently on console thus they don't have to deal with Sony or Microsoft in order to offer it.
Just because a player chooses to revolve their entire gaming experience around Cyrodiil doesn't mean the entire game itself revolves around that single zone... while Cyrodiil may be problematic, there are plenty of other areas in ESO to play and explore. It is your CHOICE not to play the other zones. Further, as I've stated previously, ZOS will not give out any compensation because it would create a precedent, with that each time anything occurred players would be demanding compensation because ZOS did it once. Instead, ZOS has explained the problem, apologized, and are pushing a fix out ASAP and are willing to deal with any fallout including losing players, knowing full well most players will return after their temper tantrum has run its course and they realize there is no other game that can compare to ESO... at this time.

You had your discount at the (console) point of sale. Can’t expect flawless performance on a $400 box. Wouldn’t get it on a $400 PC either.
Yea ZOS would rather shut down servers than give compensation.

There's always someone who answers posts like this...So what you're saying is if you went to a restaurant and paid for a steak and 2 sides but only received the 2 sides the best thing to do would be to just go to another restaurant? Not actually get what you paid for?
The OP has a valid point if the info he provided is correct. He paid for Plus. But for a period he was unable to use part of the Plus. Not for an hour, or day or week. But for a full month. Yes he was able to use other portions of Plus but not a part he wanted to use. Not saying to refund money but something would be nice. Maybe a free month of Plus without the free Crowns. Giving a free month costs them nothing if they do it without giving the Crowns normally provided. Or if the month is too much just extend their current Plus for an extra week or two.
A "free" mount should actually be a $60 mount since you have to have morrowind.
And this is a pretty poor "gift" for three weeks of inability to play the game "as it was meant to be be intend and advertised".
All eso plus members should have their subscription extended for 3 weeks as a minimum. No excuse for a faulty product to this scale, not with the resources and money zenimax has.

I've pretty much had the impression that they run this game on a shoestring budget. Very frugal. ZeniMax Media might have lots of money, but that does not necessarily mean that ZOS gets to spend it.
