I find there could be a lot of great Cyrodiil Mechanic changes that could leverage IC that would have impact for within the campaign but to do this I think IC would need to be accessible to the community. Yes no and other for your thoughts on the idea, also put in your comment how we should be refunded if we should be if this is done.

Instead of making older dlc free, maybe just have them be reduced price? That'd probably make it more appealing to people who don't wanna spend that much money.

IC needs a lot of things.

#1 it should be free at this point if it's not going to be heavily revamped.
#2 there needs to be Tel Var market control - Hakeijo isn't high enough in demand for the currency to be legitimate.
#3 it needs it's own direct campaigns.

If zos announces this change 6 months or so in advance, no one could complain about having spent crowns on it. Throw in some exclusive ic themed skins or something to people who own the dlc, and I’ll buy it myself knowing it’s about to become part of the base game just to get them. lol

I paid for Golden Edition so it's like I paid for Imperial City but cheaper, but I think that it should be free, not because it's bad DLC, but because ZOS don't even care about it anymore. They don't deserve money money for nothing. If they fix IC, then ok leave price as it is, but If they don't want to make it great again, then please give back my money. You said it is a group content mixed with PvP, it's neither it's empty and it's not easy enough to be called a solo content.

It should be part of the base game. It's part of Cyrodiil. What does ownership of the keeps surrounding lake Rumare even mean if they aren't a stepping stone to the Imperial City? The whole premise of the war in Cyrodiil is control of the White Gold Tower. FFS.

In addition to making it free they should finally rebuild the bloody bridges and implement it directly into cyrodiil, giving sectors in IC meaning for overall campaign score to make peps go there. IC is the only thing close to a pvp dlc we have seen in this game (and probably will ever see in the future due to bad revenue out of pvp addons). They might as well use it to bring something fresh to cyrodiil with little effort.

I think IC should be a part of the base game as it directly correlates with the base game on just about every level. Notice all the newer DLC dont have dolmens etc? its because the Molag Bal threat is gone. IC is the pinnacle of that story arc, it should have been the end game zone instead of craglorn.

With that being said, all DLC over a year old needs to be reduced in price.

but idk, considering you can get ESO for $10 right now, not sure they want to lose DLC money.

I´ve read your earlier suggestion of compensation (with skins/polymorphs etc and the 6 months announcement is ok ), and I would be ok with that

Perhaps not even free, but if it went on sale for very low price like $1.99, or whatever that would be in crowns, could certainly help get more people in there.

I imagine the reason the IC population is low is not so much from lack of people with access, though. There are plenty of ESO plus members. Perhaps more to do with inconvenience of traveling to the entrance, relative lack of value of the TV stones, plus some PVE players don't like losing stones if they die to NPC boss, and the low population makes it less appealing for PVP players.

Could help more to implement some of the following

separate IC only campaign with no keeps, where you spawn directly in sewer base
something like the weekend Golden Vendor who sells different monster helms / gold jewelry for TV stones
reduce TV stone penalty for dying to NPCs; and
slight reduction to the cost of mats, so you can buy more ancestor silk, alchemy flowers etc using TV stones

Make DLC > 1 year old included with base game.

To be fair, I actually bought the IC dlc on release, but I’d rather they release it for free so it’s populated then me sit here content by myself in a dead pvp zone.

I think there´s a difference between putting something for sale or including it in another offer, and giving it out for free.

But hey, if it would bring more people to IC I would be happier than anyone here

Zos has taken a logical pricing model in discountIgn the DLCs in their anniversary and with the good edition packaging the first year DLCs into a bundle an overall reduced price.

That sufficient and over time they may bundle more DLCs together and reduce the price.

After all, it's in Zos' best interest to both get as much revenue out of them as possible and make them easier to obtain. They seem to be striking a good balance.
