Do you think the Exploit Perma Ban was too harsh? Yes or No?

Perma bans? I thought a perma ban meant permanent???? I must be missing something as one of the guys off xbox eu who was perma banned was in clockwork city last night...on his "perma banned" account. As predicted, perma actually meant 3 days.

Ps) im actually glad as permanently banning people for this when far worse has gone on and goes on was OTT.

Its just a game. If you don't want people exploiting then you better test more diligently. Lots of people play to push the limits. I don't get the reason to punish that. Again, just a game that we may or may not be playing next month.

so you think exploiting is perfectly acceptable behaviour. if you exploit, then we all hope you are not playing next month.
if you want to exploit, goto the pts, exploit to your hearts content, and report it as a bug. then return to the real world where the exploit will no longer exist.

It is actually on players to do the testing and when they find an exploit they are to report it. That, and number of the players that found it exploited it further by selling clears with it and bragging in social media about it.

Basically the definition of an idiot.

Actually, there are some players who are still banned from previous cheating. So, yes, they do stop player forever.

The “it’s just a game” apologia is just sad. Cheating destroys the sense of doing anything. Imagine you’re playing cards with your friends. One of your friends always has 4 aces in his pocket and wins every round. What’s the sense in playing then? Sure, you can pretend it’s fine, you just want to hang out with friends, relax, drink a glass of wine and have a good time. I doubt very many would play the card game though if it turned out to be like described above.

Competing is human nature. Otherwise we would still live in a cave around the fire and die before we’re 30.
