What was the reason to stop heavy set pcs from dropping in overland chests?
Also I get we can retrait now, but the small heavy pcs never drop in sturdy.
Please revert these changes.

Probably because no one is a developer. I've never seen Bahrah's Curse in anything but medium.

I have a 2-Hander Tank build that uses a mix of Medium and Heavy Bahraha's Curse - the self-sustain is unbelievable.

When one tamriel hit, they standardized the loot drops. Since no other overland sets drop in multiple weights, they decided to just make it light and be done with it. It was likely the easier solution for some reason. Personally I've always considered it a tanking set and would have preferred to see it drop in heavy as standard, but that's just me. At least the option is still there to get it in other weights through the daily rewards but those will be much harder to find.

Lol, yeah it is. On my Nightblade, I combine 5pc Bahrah's Curse with 5pc Briarheart for my "survivability" set. With the DW healing skills, I'm damn near unkillable. Never considered Bahrah's Curse a tanking set though.

Considering the heal while holding a boss, its quite good. I pair it with bloodthorn on my sap tank.

Gotta wait for it to come around on the gold vendor. I don't think it's possible to get gold drops.

I have a mix of Heavy Infused and Divines on my NB Sap tank, but I had to buy every piece I think. Just can't find a Heavy Chest in Divines.
Also I think the weapons on both bars are in this set (and the shields in the other set that I can't remember right now).

    Please revert these changes.

    Um. Revert what changes?

For those of you unfamiliar with the set, here's a history:

Originally, when Thieves Guild launched, BC items were available in all 3 weights, in a limited number of traits (no Sturdy, Impen, Training, etc.; this was also before the trait revamp in Dark Brotherhood), available only from quest coffers. At the time, chests did not contain set items.

I.e., there was no such thing as "overland drops" when Thieves Guild was released.

With One Tamriel, the entire loot system across the game was revamped, and that included revamping the Hew's Bane drops. Now BC and Syvarra could drop from overland sources--chests, bosses, etc., in addition to the original coffer sources. All of the new overland drops for BC are light and arcane. Heavy BC was never removed from overland chests because they never existed in overland chests in the first place. BC drops from overland chests have always been light/arcane, and before that, it was simply impossible to get set items of any sort from overland chests.

However, the changes in One Tamriel only affected the overland drops from mobs, chests, and bosses. The quest coffers were never touched.

So there's actually two different sets of BC itemization in the game. The original set of BC itemization, from TG's launch, was all three weights with limited traits. This itemization set is still (and has always been) used by the quest coffers. This means if you want heavy BC items, you'll get them in the same way you've always gotten them since the release of TG: from the main quest coffers and from the daily heist coffers. You'll never get Sturdy items, though, since this is the original loot table from back when Sturdy was literally the most useless trait. In fact, heavy BC with Sturdy doesn't even exist (and has never existed) in the game's itemization table at all, and only with the new Transmutation feature are you able to finally get Sturdy heavy BC.

Chests and bosses use a new set of BC itemization that was added in One Tamriel. This itemization set is single-weight and always light, but includes all available traits, including Sturdy and Training.

(The same things apply to the other Hew's Bane set--Syvarra's Scales is multi-weight and limited-trait from quest coffers, and medium with a full selection of traits from overland drops. Furthermore, the original Syvarra that you get from quest coffers retain the original Ra Gada style, but the newer drops from overland sources are in the Thieves Guild style. So you can tell if someone's Divines Medium Syvarra Jack was from a quest coffer or from one of the new overland sources.)

(This is something that has been addressed before on the forum here and here.)

TL;DR: Heavy BC was not removed from overland chests because it had never existed in overland chests in the first place. Heavy BC is still obtainable today in the exact same way it's always been obtainable, via quest coffers.

I got all my heavy parts from the TG quest coffers or bought them dirt cheap since nobody wanted them over a year ago.

I suggest running some alts through TG and use TTC to keep looking for parts. If you want sturdy you might have to retrait.

Great set for a SAP tank

Not "might". You will have to retrait if you want heavy sturdy or heavy impen. The original loot pools used by the coffers are the only sources of non-light/arcane pieces, but sturdy/impen/training simply do not exist in this loot pool (as in, they don't even exist in the game's data files).
