It's an inconvenience because some of us have things like full-time jobs and families and other responsibilities that adults have to deal with. You think I should spend my limited play-time sitting in load-screens to get some raw mats THAT I ALREADY EARNED by doing my writ and getting the RNG roll required to get the survey. I understand that some folks have many hours they can dedicate daily to this game but not all of us are like you. We do not want our time to be taken up by activities that are un-enjoyable that we have completed hundreds of times.
And I'm sure you will respond with "Well you don't have to do them" except that I do because they made the mat requirements for 160 gear to be 100-something per piece, so I must do these to craft my gear or spend even more time hunting down 3-piece nodes.
There is more than enough meaningless grinding and repetition we just want some of that repetition and menial labor to be taken out. Wanting other players to continue to have to go through this excruciating process of harvesting multiple surveys is borderline sadistic.
I didn't read all the replies, so someone may have addressed this, but it would only know where you turned in the writ if the crate was permanently marked, because not everyone opens it right after they claim it. What would you do to ensure that this would still work, without adding hundreds of items to the game that could each individually be bugged?
