Isn’t this ZoS’s fault for having a bug in the game allowing people to kill a boss from a safe area?! How is that a bannable offense for those players if it is built into the game, you should be thanking them for doing some free beta testing and exposing a bug your dev team left out there......

No pity given to those banned.
Good riddance to them.
Until they pay $30 for the game again, and create a new account.
Nope.
They'd also need to regrind chars, gear and champion points and all their gold, items and collectibles would be lost. Not to mention stuff like horse training and crafting knowledge.

Some permabans in the past only lasted, what, three days?
It's pretty simple. Did they...
Abuse a bug knowingly for their own gain?
Or
Stumbled across it by mistake?
If it's the former, they get banned, good riddance, if it's the latter, then yeah ZOS went overboard.
Sh^t, forgot to add the blatant rampant use of CE!
Ya man! Its totally not zos fault that this game is broke to ***!!!

Given that ZOS nuked one of the threads from orbit... I don't think these guys are going to get off that lightly. Sure, time will tell, but still.

Yes, if they just did it a couple times for their own achievement and the perfect weapons a perma bann would be too drastic. They exploited a glitch. That is bannable. But what they were also doing was selling skin runs to people while using the glitch. These two things combined is what I think got them (deservedly so) perma banned.
