Isn’t this ZoS’s fault for having a bug in the game allowing people to kill a boss from a safe area?! How is that a bannable offense for those players if it is built into the game, you should be thanking them for doing some free beta testing and exposing a bug your dev team left out there......

Until they pay $30 for the game again, and create a new account.

This is not only unintended and an exploit, but it cheapens the time and work put in by players who have legitimately beat this fight and earn a very difficult achievement and reward. As a result, we have permanently banned all players – 34 accounts in all – who used the exploit to complete the kill and earn the special achievement and skin in this way. We will not be considering overturns for these account bans. They are permanent and final.
We are working on a fix for this exploit, but we will not be able to deploy it until Monday at the earliest. We will be watching things closely over the weekend. After we deploy the fix on Monday, we will do another audit of kills for this fight. Be warned: we will permanently ban any additional players who use the exploit over the weekend.

Yea all dungeons get cheesed, FG1 on the bridge is a good example. Nerieneth in CH2 on the statue. Sanctum troll boss. And etc....this is all dumb and ZOS is dumb for not fixing things. I won’t even go into the bot farmers that have been photographed and videotaped thousands of times nd still nothing. It’s their fault....
Yes people exploited and they should be banned i think,
But this just reinforces how little the content is tested before being released.
In ESO your almost scared to do anything in case it is an exploit due to poor testing on ZOS part. I found a nice room in Vvardenfell to do stealing in, used it maybe twice then not again just incase i got banned for exploiting when who am i to know if it was intended to be like that, or its a mistake on ZOS part that i would get banned for.
If you can kill an enemy without it fighting back that is an exploit in any MMO even if its an very smart tactic in real world and a single player game.Isn’t this ZoS’s fault for having a bug in the game allowing people to kill a boss from a safe area?!
