I tested the Innate Axiom set on my mDK and I've discovered some inconsistencies with the Innate buff. I swapped out my Innate Axoim shield with a shield of the same quality, enchantment, and trait. Swapping shields doesn't effect spell power, either... so it should give me a fair reading of the Innate buff. The following results were from wearing a 2pc Slimecraw, 5pc Silks, and 5pc Innate Axiom build with a sword and board:
-
Draw Essence (Inhale morph) has
no change whatsoever to its initial burst of magic damage or its secondary burst of fire damage.
-
Volatile Armor (Spiked Armor morph) has
no change to its initial DoT damage, but does see an increase to the magic damage to melee attackers.
-
Flame Lash (Lava Whip morph) has an increase to the base attack, but receives
no increase to Power Lash or the two second heal.
-
Burning Embers (Searing Strike morph) both the initial hit and the DoT are buffed.
Working as intended.
-
Burning Talons (Dark Talons morph) the initial hit receives an increase- but the DoT and Synergy receive
no increase in damage.
-Shifting Standard (Dragonknight Standard morph) the initial hit receives an increase- but the Synergy receives
no increase in damage.
These are only a few of the class skills that I tested- but as you can see- Innate only buffs some of the damage or none of it whatsoever on Draw Essence. The only ability that seems to reflect Innate appropriately is Burning Embers.
Can anyone else confirm these inconsistencies?
@ZOS_GinaBruno could you please pass to your combat team that this set may be bugged? Again- I've only tested it on mDK abilities... it may be the same on all classes, though.
