Having had Xboxes, 360s,slim and same with PS4s I can say in all honesty that since building a high end pc in April of this year, gaming is sooo much better on every level...and I do mean EVERY LEVEL! The term master race is only ever bandied about by master betas btw...you know who you are!
The PS4pro isnt native 4k for anything but ESO.Cant remember I could have sworn even on the pro and X1 ESO is still 30 fps locked. It can run ESO at 60 but ZOS didnt allow it.
The majority in ps4 pro are 60fps 1080p
How can the X not run ESO at 60 fps on 1080p?
Did you guys tested it really well?
I expected the X to be better than the Pro but if it can't even get 60fps on this game...

I hope Xbox One X gives its purchasers an equal, if not better, ESO performance with those 6 teraflops and all of that RAM!
Sorry but breathtaking is a bit of an exaggeration.... tboe only people that would consider eso at 4k via ps4pro on an hdr tv (4k mode has none of the graphical improvements) are those rhat have never seen true high fidelity visuals cranked up in pc hardware.
This is not some pc masterace comment. In fact i spend most of my time on my ps4 account vs my pc account. But visually, eso on the pro at 4k is hardly "breathtaking".
Breathtaking is a relative term. Staring at the northern lights aurora in East March took my breath away. Therefore, it is breathtaking to at least me.
Also, PS4 Pro is 4k Native when not in 1080 enhanced....

I forgot to specify eso is the exception. I dont believe there is a single game witb pro support outaide of eso that runs at native 4k. Simply becuase most traditional AAA games are far more involved visually than mmos are. Whereas XBOX has on record at least 2 AAA games running at native 4k.
Check out Shadows of Mordor on Pro and 4K tv. Holy s%#^*!
One other major benefit of 60fps in ESO is that you have an good margin for fps drops. If fps drops to the half you are at 30 rather than 15.Then XBOX is not an option. Nothing compares to the smoothness of 60 fps in heated battles. Except even more fps obvs.

Why do you /r/pcmasterrace people have to butt your way into every thread?

Why would we spend 5 times as much on our PCs than you on your XBOXs if we couldn't mock you after?
Just for increased draw distance and particle density? Come on, man

You know, people can have both. I personally buy all new xbox that come out but also own a gaming pc. Btw, try building a pc similar to the one x at the same price point.
I am still waiting on my one x to get here as I bought the project Scorpio edition from Walmart and for some reason won't get it until the 9th or 10th. Will compare against my pc when I get it.
If it wasn't for zos the one x would most likely run at 4k 60fps, like cod wwii. Don't know why zos is taking that stance while cod isn't, but bungie also did with destiny 2. Kind of crappy, imo.
ESO needs lots of cpu power on PC. The X doesn't have a strong cpu. That's why I guess. Plus frame drops are more annoying and noticeable than constant 30 fps.
Edit: Does it do 60 fps at 1080p?

No. The reason it's never going to do 60 fps even if the CPU could handle it is because it gives an advantage in multiplayer over all the rest of the people running at 30 fps.

So? If you have a weak PC you can't play it at 60 fps either. Why would that be different with a weak console?
I don't think the cpu of the X is capable of it. I have an i7 8700k at 5 ghz and it still uses 100% single core at times. Maybe it's better optimized for consoles? ^^

based on about 35 minutes this morning PRE - CWC Update . so what im comparing here is The xbox elite (1tb) vs the xbox one x
(clearly post update it will be very different!)
GFX - exactly the same
FPS - seems to have improved by about 2-5 fps (a guestimate) - seems much smoother
speed - area load times improved by 1-2 seconds.

So then what are you getting at? Are you fishing for a "the hardware cant run it at 60fps but they dont want to admit it, so they claim its for player balance concerns" ?
Everyone and their mother had made the pc argument of why locking fps for parity is silly since that environment already exists.
And for what its worth its basically already confirmed from hardware tests that the x1x is capable. If eso kept its visual settings as they are on regular x1 and ps4, and placed on the x1x as is, rendering at or around 60fps is entirely within reason. The ones calling the shots for console platform network play have arbitrarily decided fps needs to be identical on all platforms. This likely has to do with quality control and less variables they would eant to deal with on a controlled environment that a game console is generally billed as.

Joke system is joke system. No reason to get a Xbox One X when you have a PC. Whats making me having more lulz are the clueless players who thinks they will be able to play ESO at 4k on that thing without it becoming a friggen slide show in cities, dungeons, trials, pvp. But hey, least everywhere else will look pretty!

I know several people that run the game at 4K on the X1X on 4K monitors and they all told me that the frames were better than last patch. Hell, two people I know managed to complete HM vMoL with good frames on Tuesday (the day CWC dropped), with the X1X. Definitely not a slide show.

Video or it didnt happen. Its called being bullshitted lad. They are NOT, getting good frames at 4k in a trial when PCs with even double the hardware power cant even get better than 30 fps at 1080p. I know of a guy who has a 2017 custom built PC with a I7 7700k Processor, and he was only able to get a near 60 fps in any trial by Ocing his Processor to 5ghz, thats at 1080p. Your telling me a Console with 2.4ghz can get even near 30fps on 4k? Cuz "good frames" basically means at minimum, 25-30fps. Most PCs with even slightly stronger hardware cant even get more than 15.
Basically, they are trying to justify their bad purchase, aka lying to themselves. Zenimax isnt capable of that kinda black magic with this badly modified graphics engine. If they ever were capable of it, performance issues on the game woulda been fixed years ago.

Yeah sure, I guess I can upgrade my PC anytime I wish but you peasants have to wait 4-5 years for already outdated hardware, non serviceable hardware at that too, Enjoy your incoming fault lights that will without a doubt crop up shortly.
Na glad I switched to PC, Plus we don't have to payout just to play games online. PC is still and always will be the Master Race.
