They're only good for deconstructing, researching, and selling. Bonus points if it's Ornate.

I like that the Quests have rewards, but they're pretty lackluster compared to what I can make.
I usually only use them for research material for my Main and Alts. And if no one can use them for research, then they're typically all just deconstruction fodder. I decon everything from the Blues on up the quality scale for the improvement mats. I sell the Green and White items to the nearest vendor.
So... I'm really kid of apathetic about Quest rewards.

Quest rewards should always drop as an item from a set that drops in the zone. The newest zones and such are pretty good about this but the legacy zones drop far too much useless junk that is only good for selling, deconstructing or researching.
I think the first useful quest reward I got in this game was the
golden XP scroll you get for completing the Clockwork City main quest.
A few named items in dungeons are/were good, like the Knife of Shadows (Viper's Sting sharpened dagger), Maleficence (infused Worm healing staff), Molag Kena's Touch, The Unbroken etc. But quest rewards? Meh...
