However, it’s extremely suspicious how quick they killed both St. Felms and St. Llothis before proceeding to St. Olms. None of you are posting full vids of your great accomplishment except this short segment that only shows St. Olms.
If you didn’t abuse the exploit then prove it
Otherwise it is very clear what has happened here. Surprised you would create a thread about it.
I'd just like to point out that you don't really... deliberately exploit this. It's like the erroneous no-deaths in various dungeons, including Falkreath Hold on release. No matter what you do or how you pull it right now, Felms is just going to sit there and be a 50 million HP punching bag if you choose to fight him separately. We went into vAS intending to practice Olms+Llothis last night and noticed this with Felms too.
Whether you want to consider this "legitimate" as a result is up to you, though.

Well there is no exploit to deliberately 'abuse' really. ZOS broke Felms and he simply does not do the jumps now, you don't have to meet any specific criteria for that bug to appear. This makes the fight a lot faster than it would usually be.Edited by Dymence on October 31, 2017 8:10PM2 -

Hilarious that this guild posts a speedrun achievement thread considering the circumstances around it though.

✭✭Really great work guys! Disappointing to see so much negativity though. What exactly were they supposed to do, not run the trial at all this week or play through it slowly to make sure they didn’t get a speedrun? Absolute nonsense.

It's funny though, because judging by their time (14:42) they would clearly not have made it without Felms being bugged.
You are right, we wouldn't have gotten the speedrun yesterday if it wasn't for the boss standing still. But I am pretty confident we would get it within this week without that bug, since we made many mistakes that is easy to improve on. We would need a cleaner boss fight, as you can see our vitality bonus is not good at all. Saves us a lot of time by having all alive

Yeah, I hope it gets fixed. I'd be lying if I said I missed Saint Minor Maim, but it's completely trivial now. You reminded me that I forgot to bug report it last night, though, so thanks (indirectly)!

Even if it did involve a faulty boss, it is still not a waste of everyone's time. I'll refer you to @code65536's post earlier in the thread. This achievement demonstrates how much of a mess the entire trial is. The fact that you are more likely to get a speedrun using the opposite strategy from what ZOS intended just shows a lack of understanding of the effects mechanics they implement have and the methodology players use to combat those mechanics. I by no means say this as an insult to the design team. It's just a logical conclusion based on their design choices and adjustments.PC NA

It's unfortunate that ZOS keeps repeatedly breaking all of the hardest to obtain achievements. Falkreath no death and speedrun were given for free to basically any group that did it in the first week of the patch. A few Vet dungeons also give you these for free and still haven't been fixed.2 -

Nobody exploited anything. It's an unavoidable bug introduced in Monday's patch, and every group that kills Felms by himself will run into the bug.
So every guild that attempts a speedrun this week (assuming that the bug will be fixed in next Monday's incremental) will get the exact same advantage that Dragons Crest had. And every guild had the exact same opportunity. It just so happens that Dragons Crest was the first guild to complete speedrun with the help of this bug.
Now, people might argue that a speedrun with this bug doesn't really count. Just as they might argue that Hodor's first speedrun of vHoF didn't count because they ran past and skipped trash pulls. In both cases, it's just a question of what the criteria should be for such claims. Just wait until Zos fixes their mess and see who is first it really isn't a big deal in my opinion. Back when I played it seemed pretty standard to just post the last boss usually in a first completion video( actually kinda generous). Especially when a trial is still in competition. Anyone who played this week in the end-game guilds can understand why you wouldn't post the full raid, as well as it being clear that everyone has the exact same playing field bug or no bug.Boone

It's not about getting account banned or punished in any way. It's about fair play. You know that you accomplished borderline time due to bug but you still went into forums to brag about Worlds First.
There are tons of bugs in the game, like already mentioned FH on release. You know how I got my skin? I logged in as usual on my tank at the day of release, pressed for random vet and it brought me into a group standing next to final boss. We killed the last boss within 10 minutes on HM and I got all the achievements of that dungeon (no death, timerun, hm etc). I assume I had to come to the forum and brag about getting skin.
Fair play is involved in any game, online or offline and if you want to keep it fair something has to stop you from creating a thread like this.6 -
